You can paint a turd gold, but it will always be a turd. An auto check-in system to greet us, yeah that’s what the website said. But the only time we seen staff was for a terrible pay extra breakfast served by someone I can only describe as living in a dream about the standard of establishment they run. Clearly... More

First impressions of the hotel are good. A clean spacious front area and a good looking house. For me the 'self check-in system' went well. Although through the day/night I could hear a few people outside using the intercom having problems getting through the door, then cursing trying to get the key for their room released. My room was comfortable,... More

When I go offshore I like to stay here, it’s quiet & usually has rooms if I book a few days in advance, there are no staff onsite, but I can always contact reception when I am in the hotel if I need to extend my stay, & they are usually very accommodating with this (a couple of times they... More

This hotel is very close to the train station, stayed 3 nights in a single room. (Single bed) It is small, but I assume the double rooms are bigger & I was on a budget. Room had all the mod cons, TV, internet iron & ironing board, en-suite was nice, standard was very high (rare for a single room!) overall... More

Stayed here on business as it’s literally just round the corner from my company’s Aberdeen office. Very clean, Wi-Fi was fast. The Hotel is located in the very middle of Aberdeen city centre, just off Union Street. There are no onsite staff, apart from at breakfast, but this did not bother me as I had no issues at check-in /... More

I hate waiting to check in after travelling, so I found this hotel perfect for me, no fuss, I just used my check-in code on the front door, & also to retrieve my key card at my pre-allocated room door, there are no staff onsite, but if I needed help there is an intercom system at the entrance & also... This place is a total rip off. Rooms are so small and overpriced. Iron was burnt with nobody to replace it. Door code to check in is very impersonal, felt like a hostel or YMCA. Soap and shampoo in plastic sachets is cheap and low quality especially for the price. Will never stay here again.

If this were anywhere else in the country, it would be a £50 hostel. But to pay £210 a night for a botch DIY converted house is nothing more than a disgrace that is taking advantage of a booming oil industry. There are no staff, you have to get your own room keys, it's noisy, the rooms are basic, beds... More
