Stayed here for 2 nights through Work that secretary booked and she was told we would be in an apartment with it's own living area and kitchen etc...... but when we arrived we had to go to 21 school road to which we found we would be staying in 2 small rooms in the owners flat with a shared bathroom... First thing to note is the owner doesn't live on site, meaning if you need anything you have to call him. That involved, in my case, quite a lot of waiting around for him. On arrival I didn't even know I was in the right place as there's no signage outside! Really weird. Guy in the corner shop rolled his... More

This guest was over one hour late and when I tried to contact him by telephone there was no answer, unfortunately I could not wait any longer for I was due to booking in other guests else where. It turned out that this guests telephone was not charged and he had to use the nearest shop to contact me. In... More

I stayed at the Aberlee for a few days while at Uni since my permanent accomodation provided by the university wasn't ready (and still isn't!!). Great place and the host (Ivan) is friendly and accomodating. I had to cut it short since my wife had an accident, which is my great regret as the place was growing on me greatly.... More

My room was comfortable, had ensuite which I wasn't expecting, and the TV and wifi made it a comfortable stay. Unfortunately I was located next to the kitchen and the other guests staying at the guest house were rude and inconsiderate. They were happy to talk loudly and slam doors at 6:30 in the morning. The kitchen door has a... More

I have stayed at the Aberlee Guest House on many happy occasions when in Aberdeen on business. On my last trip to Aberdeen I was staying in the Aberlee's Rental Apartment for the first time which I found to be to the same high standard as the Guest House Accommodation. The apartment I stayed in was friendly, warm, clean and... More

I booked to stay in the guest house, the day I was due to arrive I was told no room in the guest house and I would be in a flat with the owners, ok I said. The room had a tv with no signal, shared bathroom, the room was very untidy looking extension sockets and cables everywhere, I was... More

As the owner of the Aberlee Guest House I would like to give my response to this guests review. This guest was provisionally booked to stay at the Aberlee Guest House and was asked to pay a booking deposit to confirm the booking. However, the booking deposit was never paid. On attempting to contact the guest but failing, I had... More

Aberlee Guest house is by far one of the better places I have stayed. Aberdeen is not the ideal place to be looking for accommodation at short notice as the prices are sky high (higher than London). Luckily I managed to find Aberlee and at a reasonable price I got long term accommodation in a warm, clean and modern environment.... More

The Aberlee Guest house in Aberdeen is one of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. The Host, Ivan, is very friendly and always helpful, he is always there to greet you. The rooms are well appointed and the place is always clean and warm. There is a kitchen, with fridge, microwave and kettle for everyone to use.... More

It took a littel time to get into this extremely popular guest hose but the wait was well worth it. Ivan is an excellent host and was always there when I arrived and made sure I settled in from the first visit to the last. As I was working in the Bridge of Don area this was an excellent location... I was posted to Aberdeen from Glasgow in May 2011 to build a new radiotherapy facility at the local hospital. I knew nothing of the area so a quick internet search threw this guest house up. It is now December and I have stayed in this place every week since I arrived! The owner Ivan offered me a twin room... More
