Room was very chic, loved the bare brickwork on bed head wall. Location is great for exploring the city centre and good bars and places to eat are vast. Thought that the bar in reception was the only one until going for breakfast following morning to find a pizza bar on the first floor. Breakfast was nothing special but nice...

Was really impressed by the hotel after staying here on business. Hotel does not look like much from the outside but is very nice and modern once you enter. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Plenty of restaurants and bars located next to the hotel and is centrally located for travel links & walking distance to most city...

A really lovely, modern hotel. The entrance isn't very grand, kind of in a basement but the rooms are really nice. With brick walls and a massive smart TV/computer on the wall which I was impressed with. The only thing is it has the previous guests name/info still on the screen which was a bit unprofessional. The breakfast that was...

Small, stylish hotel perfectly sited off Union Street with modern rooms. Great continental breakfast with plenty of choice included in the price. Pleasant, unobtrusive staff. Walking distance from all the sights and railway station.

We had a comfortable stay although our room was right next to the lift that serviced the restaurant so was very noisy late night especially as there was a 'do' on! I would recommend asking for a room towards back of hotel. We had a superior room which was perfectly nice. The breakfast was a very disappointing - probably better...

This hotel was set behind the main high street and close to an APH car park. The area was very quiet and the rooms were modern and clean. The reception staff were very helpful and the reception doubled up as a bar with a discount on the drinks.

We stayed on a Saturday night and found all aspects of the stay superb and great value for money. We were allowed into the room early which was appreciated as we'd arrived in town very early and were cold after wandering about most of the morning. Really pleased with the room, a superior double, which was large, clean and very...

The hotel is a nice change from the "chain" hotels. The hotel is very clean and the bar area well stock (for ales!). When I was there it wasn't busy. My room was on the 3rd floor. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and a smart TV in the room. There was a mini bar in the room which...

My husband and I stayed at The Bauhaus for 2 nights as a short break and for some much needed r&r. We could not have picked a better hotel for our needs. Staff were absolutely wonderful and really couldn't do enough for us-nothing was too much trouble-they really went out of their way to make us feel so welcome and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, our contemporary, iconic granite building opened its doors in November 2009. Located very close to Union Street, the hotel provides easy access to the city's shops, nightlife and sights. We recognise that style and flair for design need not break the bank. Our yummy cocktails, fabulous linen, flat screen TVs, free WiFi, luxurious Aveda bathroom products, all help to redefine the urban hotel experience in Aberdeen. It is the first high quality, no fuss, value-for-money boutique hotel in town. ... more   less
