Stayed in this hotel on 28 Aug 2016. The room assigned had frosted windows which inhibited looking outside and could not be opened. First time I ever encountered this situation. The room itself was shabby. Went to diner. Upon return found water running down the bathroom walls. Front desk could not / would not change room ostensibly because they were... More

A larger room than usual with 2 double beds (?) but the downside, no airconditioning. Friendly professional service and a really great bar that oozes atmosphere. A little way out of town but not a problem if you are driving or don't care about down town Derry. Certainly the large room would make me come back 👍🏼

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Food was lovely, service was excellent and Staff at reception, in the restaurant and at the bar were extremely pleasant and very helpful. We enjoyed the hotel so much so that we spent day/ night there on the Saturday and didn't feel the need to go anywhere else. James Bond (Leigh) the... More

Had a lovely meal in the main restaurant here. Excellent value for money with extremely good service. Menu had good choice for early evening two meal special deal for two courses. Certainly worth the trip. We added a dessert, well why not we are on holiday!

As a regular traveller to Derry as I work for a local based business I keep finding the same issues with this hotel. Now don't get me wrong the overall experience is great however the minor things play a big part in the overall rating as they somewhat put me off using this hotel if I wasn't travelling with work.... My room at The Da Vinci Hotel was very spacious, clean and such a change from the hotels in Scotland with all their austerity. The dining in Da Vincis Restaurant was very impressive. The food was to a high standard and the staff were lovely, very friendly and polite. There was live music to listen to in the bar area... More

Travelled from glasgow to this hotel for my friends hen weekend. I'm very impressed with the hotel from check in to the staff working in the hotel. The hotel hosts a great bar which can be accessed by everyone. There is a outdoor area which is covered from the great outdoor for smokers. The hotel, pub & restaurant has a... More

Ate here a few weeks ago for the first time and the missus and i were very impressed. Setting is nice and comfortable, food is to a high standard and service is excellent. Had the pork belly myself and enjoyed it very much, and a polite waiter named 'Ryan' looked after us extremely well all night. If you get the... More

I stayed in Da Vinci's last weekend for one night. Whilst the hotel itself is fine, and the staff at check-in were very pleasant, I'm only giving this hotel 1 out of 5 due to being insulted by the night staff after returning to the hotel. Firstly, I had two rooms booked, one was a family room (for 3 people),... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and I am disappointed to read your comments. I spoke to my colleague that was on duty during your stay and it was never his intention to insult you. It is standard hotel policy that there is a clear understanding of the maximum occupancy per room from a healthy safety perspective. My colleague... More

I had read that the hotel had a Trip Advisor Excellence award............and rightly so. Its location to the Derry city centre, and of course after visiting the legendary 'giant's causway', makes the hotel a worthy place to rest and eat while in this part of the country.
