My husband and I spent one night at Nightingale House in August and wished we were staying longer! Isabelle greeted us warmly at the door and we immediately felt so welcome. She showed us to our lovely and spacious room and stayed to chat. The room had tea-making supplies and lots of cookies and treats. It was warm and inviting... More

I booked a room, but there were some problems, mainly my fault, but she kindly gave me a solution, even she charged me less than agreed in the first place, although the room was not the one I chose. However, the room was fantastic, I do not have any regrets. The location is great, not far from city centre although... More

After an exhausting week's tour of the Wild Atlantic Way from Donegal Town round to Derry City, we were ready for "something different" and Nightingale House did not disappoint. Everything about this charming house oozes the personality of Isabelle, the wonderful hostess of this B&B. We loved the bold prints on the walls, the furnishings in the bedrooms and the... More

We spent a week in Derry visiting friends. Nightingale House was a terrific home away from home. Isobel is a wonderful hostess. The breakfasts were great, the room was clean with lots of little extras, and Isobel was very helpful and entertaining. Can't wait to go back again!

Isabell, the 4 King Charles Caveliers, and Skip the kitten, gave us a very warm welcome. Aoife our King Charles loved her stay at this very pet friendly B&B.... The room was very comfortable with a good ensuite. Breakfast was great with so much choice, fresh fruit salad, cereals, and bacon and eggs as you choose to have them fried... More

Nightingale house is the best place I have ever stayed. It is spotlessly clean and everything you could want or need is provided. The location is ideal and a taxi into the city centre costs only £4.00. The selection for breakfast is amazing and you definitely wont feel leave feeling hungry. So if you want to stay somewhere that you... More

Had a lovely time with my partner & his elderly parents. Such a quirky, class b&b, rooms comfy & spotlessly clean. Great breakfast, a mixture of continental foods & we had a great fry too. Just £4 into centre of Derry, will be back.

This review is a little late. We started our holiday flying into Dublin. We made arrangements to arrive after usual check-in hours. After over 13 hours total on airplanes, a 3 hour drive to Derry, and driving in circles for a while we arrived a lot later than expected. When we arrived, we were greeted by the vivacious Isobella. We... More
