From the moment you arrive the welcome is just what you want. The hotels location & feeling of comfort is marvellous. If you happen to have the evening meal and are fortunate enough to be served by Cathy, the experience is enhanced by her bubbly personality. If you are thinking of staying here i can truly say you will enjoy... More

I am relaxing at the luxurious spa after the blissful Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage with Facial (a snip at £60) administered by the lovely Eimer ... I had an out of body experience. Sheer Heaven. I am definately going to have the full day package next time. There are many different treatments designed to restore mind & body. Compliamentary... More

I can only describe this hotel as quite nice: the staff are very nice, and the breakfast is good. My 'ambassador' room was OK - sold to me as being large, but why I needed two king-sized beds was beyond me - refurbished, but not to a particularly modern standard. The public areas are quite old fashioned. From the outside,... More

The Spa package is a great deal. Decent room, relaxing facial and massage, beautiful evening meal and breakfast for £125pp. Staff were great, particularly the young ginger haired waiter in the Vine Restaurant (sorry we forgot your name after some wine). Absolutely wonderful break for my mum and I, only wish we could've stayed longer!

We stayed in the Ambassador Suite enjoying a great view. As our son was celebrating his birthday we enjoyed a family dinner; the staff were very helpful and patient as we had 3 young children and lots of chaos at the table. Family dinners are easy at the Burrendale; good food professional yet very friendly staff and plenty of space.... More

My brother and wife and myself enjoyed a very pleasant 2days at Burrendale Hotel. We were made very welcome on arrival and enjoyed a beautiful dinner followed by Irish coffees made by Kevin at our table (very entertaining) Followed by Stevie singing in the lounge, also very entertaining. We enjoyed an early morning swim followed by a very extensive choice... More

My wife went for a swim in the spa whilst I read the paper. The spa staff are excellent and the pool first class. However the tinny music could be improved. Went to the lounge ordered coffee and shortbread which were delivered very quickly by pleasant an friendly staff. This lounge boasts excellent mountain views and is really comfortable. Highly... We went for a meal in the Burrendale on Saturday 10/09/2016 with some friends over from South Shields. We had such a beautiful meal and were well looked after by Kevin and Shauna who was waiting on our table for the night. Both were very welcoming and professional. Our guests were very impressed.
