Tidy and spacious rooms with good facilities, staff were very helpful and professional. Evening meal was a delight and the breakfast next day was a very relaxing way to begin the day. Shopping in Armagh was great with local shops easily outnumbering and outperforming the nationals.

My first stay here and wasn't disappointed, friendly, helpful staff and very comfortable room and bed. It's not cheap at £95 for B&B. My only criticism is they use horrible clingy curtains on the shower. Everything was clean though. Also ate in the bar, the restaurant is apparently only open Thursday to Saturday. Bar food was good with a reasonable...

Had Sunday lunch recently . Quality of food and service were both good. However, the dining room is 'tired looking'. There is paint hanging from the ceiling in places , the light fittings look bedraggled, the room is generally dark and in need of decoration. It was three years since I had lunch there before and the room looks not to...

Pleasant, friendly greeting, polite. When asking for a taxi later on, I didn't like it when she never lifted her face away from her computer and just pointed to the phone. Looked to be a bit short staffed at the coffee bar. Room was clean but basic. Not bad for a 3 star hotel. Would stay again

Good hotel for a stopover or business trip. Rooms are ok, nothing special except for a particularly enormous bed. All the usual things, was clean and well kept. Comfortable and decent room for a stopover. Though, there was no safe, but then it's a 3* hotel and not intended to be top end. We had a decent couple of night...

I have recently visited the Armagh Hotel for food. I have to say that it was tops. I have never been in their room's as I only live close to the hotel. The hotel overall hygiene is good and it's a modern hotel. Friendly staff and keen to let you know portion sizes and if it's a spiced dish etc.

We stayed at this hotel between Christmas and New Year with our two children aged 7 and 4. The hotel was a bit empty and lacking in atmosphere, but a lot of hotels can be like that during this period. The bedroom was spacious, quiet and had comfortable beds, but it was very warm at night to the extent that...

Dear Brian Many thanks for taking the time to review our hotel. The period between the hustle and bustle of Christmas, Boxing Night and New Years can be more peaceful here @ The Armagh City Hotel, and the levels of business are not at their peak, so the atmosphere is more relaxed at this time, as you alluded to. I'm...

Just back from a lovely overnight here. The whole hotel was immaculate. The room was beautifully clean. Every member of staff with whom we had contact was incredibly cheerful and very, very helpful.Breakfast was cooked to order and had the welcome addition of soda farl and potato bread. The bar staff rose to the occasion when we asked for cocktails...

Have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions and ALWAYS found the staff friendly and helpful with a bit of banter thrown in; rooms are clean and comfortable; choice on the dinner menu is varied and not overly expensive and the food quality is excellent and finally the health club (no charge for guests) is great!! 100%!!

We were leaving family members very early this morning to Dublin Airport and decided to call at the hotel for our breakfast on the way home.
