I found Carnately Lodge when I was looking for a place to stay at the north coast during my trip there. It is quite near the Giant's causeway and offers nice relaxing atmosphere. The hosts are very kind and friendly, very open and like to chat. The rooms are very clean and neat which results in great sleep. The breakfast... More

This b and b is great-clean, quiet, with a spectacular view across the road to the glens of Antrim. However, because it is a bit out of the town, you will need to budget about 5 pounds per trip into and out of Ballycastle to sight see and get dinner. My sister and I had planned to walk in every... My husband and I had the good fortune to stay at Carnately Lodge on our recent holiday to Ireland. We chose this B&B on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. Colette is a gracious host and recognized our anniversary with a card that she had placed in our room when we arrived. Our room was large,... More

Stayed 4 nights for the NW200. Accommodation was perfect for our needs. Lovely hosts, room was big and had tea/coffee, TV, hairdryer, very comfy bed and big end suite bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in area.

Carnately Lodge is a central base for exploring NI. It is situated beautifully with great views of the countryside yet only minutes away from the sea. We stayed in the king sized room, which was large, comfortable and well appointed. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this great B&B. It's... More

We were very pleasantly surprised to find that owner Collette arranged for his uncle Nigel to fetch us to all the places of interest (Dunluce Castle, Giants' Causeway, Dark Hedges) at a very reasonable price. Nigel was helpful and knowledgable and we had a really good time. He drove us in his fantastic cars. The hotel is far from the... More

We hadn't made lodging arrangements, and it was already late afternoon in January, with spotty cell reception on our way North from Belfast. The first four places I could find and reach on my phone were full, but one provided the phone number to Carnately Lodge. Bert answered; he was a bit hesitant as Collete was out of town. It... More

Carnately Lodge is a fantastic B&B on the outskirts of Ballycastle, perfectly positioned to explore the North coast. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and breakfast was wonderful. Colette is a laugh, a teller of great tales and full of excellent suggestions for things to do and see. We felt so welcome, and will definitely visit again.

Love this place . Colette and Bert are lovely , rooms are clean and spacious , we stayed in a family room which had its own private bathroom across the hall . Beds are so comfortable, breakfast is served from 7am , earlier if requested, freshly cooked to order . Would highly recommend a stay here . Great base to... More
