We were looking for somewhere to go to switch off and relax and this absolutely exceeded our expectations. We booked the Art Deco room for a tiny bit extra & it was worth every penny. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We did not hear a sound either night. The breakfast was by far the best we have ever had. Everything was so fresh & tasty. The staff are really helpful and go above and beyond. You wouldn’t have to set foot outside the hotel if you didn’t want to. The food in Barts was delicious as are the cocktails in the Clothe Ear. We cannot wait to return already!

Had the most amazing 24 hours in this hotel last weekend. From check-in, our Victorian room with marble bathroom, to the excellent spa treatment by Briony, Prosecco in the hot tub on the roof, dinner and cocktails in Berts Jazz Bar and breakfast in the Great Room, everything was perfect. I can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed here for my 40th birthday. We had a 1 night stay with breakfast and 3 courses in Berts for £210. On arrival we were upgraded to an art deco room - it was huge! The touches in the room were excellent and it was spotless. We had turn down service which is always a nice touch. We decided to have our breakfast in the room for £15. This was good value, very tasty and saved us having to get dressed before 10am! We used the fooftop jacuzzi in the sun which added to the experience. All staff members were very friendly so as i honestly cant fault the merchant, i give it a 5 and i will be looking forward to staying again.

Best thing about this hotel was #heather ❤️ Slow service at reception. Missed our taxi and meal booking due to this. I would have had expectations of a friendlier service for a hotel of this calibre Lovely location and cocktails were beautiful
