The location of this place is great. Everything that you may need is near. The rooms are the basic of the basic. The bedding is clean, but the rest of the room not so. There is a wardrobe with rail, but unless you carry hangers in your back pack its unusable. The kitchen is spacious, but very unhygienic. There is...

Staying at Paddys Palace was a truly awful experience. My friend and I paid for 4 nights and ended up only staying there for 1 night because it was so unpleasant. There is zero security - our room was right beside the front door which was often left lying open so anyone from the street could walk in. No lockers...

This is a beautiful old building which is full of charm and character. It is central to all nightlife and the staff are uber friendly which made me feel very much at home. There is a big common room and kitchen with a dinning area to eat in. Overall i had a great stay

The young staff are helpful and this made it bearable, however I have to agree with the bad comments. Shower had shower head missing and the decor is poor with mould on the Windows which neither closed or opened! This made it really noisy. They provide free breakfast however they ran out of milk two mornings and the bread as...

We made a booking at the last minute due to changes in plans to stay with a friend that fell through. While the place isn't a glossy hostel it was very well priced and well situated to the neighbourhood. Plenty of eateries and public transport around there. The beds were clean and we shared the room with two nice folks...

First experience staying in a hostel so not got a true comparison. However, I did feel the accomodation was somewhat lacking with creaky beds, holes in walls, unusable plug sockets, broken window latch, broken shower, communal rooms locked until 8am etc. The biggest plus I can find is that I believe we had clean sheets.

Watch online for "advertiser" reviews. Clearly not unbiased. Truly not a good hostel ... At all. Showers dirty, holes in walls. Questionable security. Commons areas don't open until 8am (checking email sitting on stairs). Very very few electrical plug (one in room of 8).... Best thing is sitting in Starbucks nearby, clean bathroom, bright, quiet.

They have gone an extra mile by offering me normal-rate accommodation at an immediate notice on a busy weekend when all other hostels and most of the hotels were fully booked. Not only that, but also (and more so) offering me a better option once the opportunity arouse (same night of arrival). All culminating in keeping a close eye on...

Our room was clean, but the bathroom was a really dirty and the shower didn't work. Also, the bathrooms are very busy in the morning, only one shower for the whole floor! The location is fine, 15 min from the city center. I don't recommend this place if you have any other options.

Stayed here recently in an 8 bedded room with my company and my god was it terrible. The website says the place is undergoing renovation and its nowhere to be found (and it really needs it). Dirty floors, holes in the walls, the battered kitchen. The only upside were the showers themselves, with the water giving at least enough pressure...
