Stayed here with a group of 12 for my sisters hen. The hotel itself is lovely and whilst we Didn't eat in the restaurant we had cocktails etc which were lovely. The rooms themselves are decorated darkly which isn't my thing and made applying make up difficult. The breakfast was first class and by far the best hotel breakfast I've... More

We stayed during a city break having been at other Malmaison elsewhere. Although the staff were pleasant and friendly throughout, we found the building, foyer and the room very dark; the only decent lighting was at the reception desks. This was no doubt due to the decoration finish (very dark) and the shortage of decent lighting. Probably due to the... More

By some will of god, Belfast was warm in June and unfortunately I stayed here on 3 separate occasions on business trips that month after the Fitzwilliam was taken off our work list. Had it been cooler or cold, this hotel would be fine but when the sun is out, this place becomes an oven. The hotel anticipate this and... More

I have stayed a few times over the last year and i love it. Had a great birthday dinner in the brasserie in the height of the busy Christmas season and food and service was great. The absolute jewel in their crown though is their afternoon tea. Wow! Having recently been for a very disappointing one in the Merchant, this... More

I stayed in Belfast for two weeks for a history conference. I was right downtown and could walk everywhere. It was safe, convenient and all the staff were great. I loved my room. Modern with all amenities, but the best was my bed. It was HEAVEN. It loved you back. Great after a long day. One night I could not... More

Fantastic location close to the River Lagan and handy for the city centre. This is a delightful hotel converted from an old building, something the Malmaison brand do well capturing the history and atmosphere brilliantly. There is a friendly smile to greet you at Reception, you are taken care of exceptionally well, the rooms are clean and have all amenities... More

What a delightful hotel in the centre of Belfast. Beautifully decorated and excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We only ate breakfast here but it was well cooked and presented. The restaurant is decorated with a maritime theme and very contemporary.

Hotel of Hotels, is the Malmaison in Belfast. Ornate architecture, good service and brilliant food. We loved staying here for the two nights that we were putting up in Belfast. I used Google Maps for the whole tour to guide me where I was going which was extremely helpful. So we took a bus from the Airport and got off... More

We booked a weekend break in Malmaison as a birthday celebration. We also reserved the restaurant. The hotel looks nice from outside but that's really it. Inside reception is two office type desks leading to the lifts and the bar. There is nowhere to sit really other than the bar which has a poor selection of beer! The rooms are... More
