To all the staff from front of house to chefs and waiting on staff, we would like to say a very special thank you for an amazing wedding day and night. A very special thanks to Mohammad, Claire, Matthew and management for making our wedding day a first class experience. We were looked after like royalty and the day ran flawlessly. We would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue. A full 10/10 from myself and my husband. Thank you so much!! We couldn’t have asked nor expected more. Definitely the best day of our lives 26/05/19.

Oxtail score of 2.5 Basis of review: Room = 5 : I chose for an upgraded suite room in the old part of the hotel. Room was very nice and comfortable. Very large with good shower and facilities. Food = 3 : everything at the restaurant was good however room service food was horrendous. Location = 5 : great location Comfort = 1 : although most things were good in the hotel and I paid for an expensive room for additional comfort as I was going to be there for 3 days, unfortunately what they don’t advise is that directly below the room is a function room which hosts wedding receptions until 1am. Music was loud enough that you could feel your body vibrate whilst lying in bed. The hotel could only apologise and say it was out of their control. This is what bring my rating down to 2.5

Stayed in this hotel whilst in Belfast on business but I would definitely use it on any return visits for pleasure. It’s well located and a short walk from some great restaurants and bars and convenient for city centre shops and general buzz. Perfectly situated and across from the gorgeous city hall so a great view too. What struck me most was the room - spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated with gorgeous, rich velvet upholstery and curtains....it felt so luxurious! And with lovely old fashioned shutter screens on the bottom half of the huge windows, it was bright and loads of natural light but discreet and private and oh so quiet. Road noise was all but deadened and a great sleep ensued. Didn’t eat here but the bar was lovely, well stocked and again very nicely done out. Now get this - for this level of luxury (and service it has to be said, the staff were just great and so friendly as you’d expect from Irish hospitality), it cost about the same as a run of the mill holiday inn type place! So if you’re in Belfast and looking for accommodation you’d be daft not to try this place - I’ll definitely be using it again!

We stayed here over the weekend, our room wasn't ready on arrival as we had an early fight, but the reception staff and the concierge could not have been more helpful, they gave us all the information we needed for all the sight seeing. Staff are the friendliest I've ever met in a hotel. The food was delicious, bar was lovely and the room we stayed in, a standard double was big and spotlessly clean. Have recommended it to all my friends and would definitely stay here again if we came back to beautiful Belfast.

We chose to pay for an upgraded room (210GBP) on check-in. We asked for a nice room and they recommended the one we opted for (it was newly refurbished, was in the older part of the hotel but had more character). This new room was 60GBP more expensive than the first room quoted. We decided to treat ourselves and booked the more expensive one. Never was it mentioned that it was (1) above the bar area, (2) that there was going to be loud music playing (3) That the new rated room had no sound proofing.... The disco music played loud until 1am. It felt like it was playing on a sound system in our room. I called reception to be told it would be over shortly, at 1am. That was all they said. At check out the next morning, I let the receptionist know that we were not happy and the reply was 'we're sorry but your room was located above the bar' - nothing about the inconvenience, no apologies for not telling us up front that those rooms can be noisy. It was evident that they did not care and just wanted to 60GBP extra, I really can't recommend this hotel based on our experience.
