I stated for one night as in Belfast on business. The communication from Roger beforehand was excellent (emails answered within a few minutes) and the house is easily located and within 2 miles of the city centre (£7 by taxi, £2 by bus). Iit is located on a main road, I had a room at the front so there was... More

Could not have asked for better service. Room was comfy. Breakfast was Great. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone. There was a weird smell from the surrounding outside area that almost smelled like a barn , But it was all over, not just that property. It wasn't terrible , just Odd.

Thanks for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Ravenhill House. That 'weird smell' you mention is caused by farmers 'muck spreading' their land on the nearby Castlereagh Hills which border east Belfast. The cow pastures are fertilised with dung once in the spring and once at the end of summer so it's quite a rare occurrence... More

This Victorian B&B has spacious rooms with everything you could possibly want and serves amazing breakfasts. There was so much choice at breakfast, that was the hardest decision of our holiday. It is handy for getting into Belfast and near a good choice of restaurants but still in a relaxing location away from the city noise.

This is second stay at the Ravenhill guest house in two weeks. Location is just within the city near to all main routes. Public transport easily available. Yet it is in a leafy suburb of Belfast, much quieter location than most of the hotels and easily accessible by car. Great welcome to the guest house. Lovely older building with its... More

My room was wonderful, beautifully decorated with quality bedding & towels. Lovely view of trees and the street. Olive and Roger were wonderful attentive hosts. I was with a group of 6 and we were able to meet in the lounge a lot of the time. Roger saw to our every need and supplied a full, tasty, Irish breakfast each... More

Stayed for one evening whilst om business - would have stayed longer if I could. Roger was there to meet me, make a cup of tea and just be the most welcoming host you can ask for. Not in your face, but there when you need him. I had a lovely comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean room on the ground floor.... More

Stayed for three nights with my daughter. Can not fault the accommodation; the food and helpfulness of Rodger as the proprietor. Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay for anyone coming to visit Belfast.

This is just a lovely B&B; it is comfortable and quite.Roger was there to welcome our party and he was so helpful giving us directions to the Ferry and answering all of our questions. Breakfast was delicious and the homemade gooseberry jam was so good. Very nice accommodations and we would stay there again.

I had a 4 night delightful stay at this beautiful period guesthouse. Airy comfortable, spotlessly clean, rooms with comfy beds and sparkling modern shower rooms ensuite. Charming hosts, Olive and Roger serve a wonderful breakfast each morning in the spacious dining room. Don't hesitate in staying here, most definitely Belfast hospitality at it's very best.

We spent 2 nights here ( my partner 4) and I found it to be one of the best b&b's I've ever stayed at. A lovely Victorian house, immaculately clean and interestingly decorated. Our room was spacious and light. Roger and Olive are delightful hosts, and we really enjoyed meeting them. Terrific breakfasts and very helpful with suggestions ( special... More
