Downstairs appears nice and gives false impression of how you think you will find the rooms. Staff nice and friendly. Everything else terrible. Do not stay here. See pics below and this is exactly how I found the room.

It only cost £40 for a double room, it's convenient for the ferry, breakfast was £8 each, hot water in shower and clean bed BUT it's a typical workers hotel and I for one would NOT recommend it for families. They've spent money on front desk but bedrooms are a joke and dirty - laid in bed and looked up...

Very good price for good Belfast location. Reasonable standard. However not clean enough. Trashes after other users left on bathroom shelf ; toiletries basket missing items ( I booked 2 rooms so I could see that); air fresher in bathroom build mostly from dust . Nice stuff; average tasty food. I wilk stay Here next time i will visit Belfast...

My sister and I arrived to Belfast for Tennants Vital festival having forgotten our tickets and our Titanic experience tickets. The hotel staff printed them out for us which I thought was just so helpful. The hotel itself wasn't bad either. The restaurant area was nice and the smoking area outside in the gardens was cozy. Our room was biggish...

I had booked a room in the Lansdowne Hotel and then read a poor review. I rang the hotel and was assured by the duty manager that, while the hotel is a fairly old building, it is kept very clean. I said that I wasn't expecting a star hotel but on the basis of what he said I let my...

From the minute we arrived for our short break to our time of departure I was amazed buy the friendly staff who could not have done any more to make us feel welcome. The breakfasts were superb and we also enjoyed the bar food over a few friendly pints. Both the duty managers we met , John and Tony offered...

My husband and I booked this hotel on the basis that it was within our budget and it had parking as we hired a car for our trip to Belfast. People on here are too negative and seem to expect a lot from what I'd call a reasonably priced hotel. We stayed for £65 a night compared to the central...

Had the worst hotel experience ever and cancelled the 2nd night stay. Had the pleasure of listening to person in room next door tv until 5.30am with no let up. To make matters worse could hear every noise he made - disgusting! The bin was full when we arrived, a half empty pack of biscuits on the tea tray and...

We as a family have been patrons of the Lansdowne for quite some time and we were disappointed to read the negative comments as published in 'Belfast Live'. The staff alone are 10/10, and the food is varied and enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, The staff go over and beyond to provide an excellent service. The bedrooms may...

Stayed the one night on business. Check-In was friendly although payment for the nights accomodation was taken immediately and was informed that a full printed invoice should be available upon checking out in the morning. The room was pretty drab and tired looking showing considerable wear with scuffs and scratches to painted surfaces and bedside units. The windows didn't manage...
