We stayed here as a couple in September 2020. Lots of sanitisation stations and distancing measures in place. Our room was lovely - great bed and nicely decorated and a modern bathroom. It was lovely to relax in. We had to sit outside for drinks and it was a bit of a nuisance to get served, we had to go inside and look for someone to bring us one. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. Would like to come back when bar restrictions are eased.

I was a bit disappointed with Malone lodge Hotel. The room was very basic and very small, nothing like the photos didn’t get what I expected. It was extremely noisy, we were put over the bar/smoking area with noisy neighbours on each side even though the hotel seemed relatively empty. We did complain to reception and the noise did get a little better. The shower did work properly for it to heat up properly you had to have it on high speed and you could stand under it so no showers taken. All in all it was very disappointed. It’s saving grace we’re the staff very nice & accommodating and the place was spotless.

Good option for Queens and City. Spacious rooms and no noise. Clean reception and all covid precautions in place. Staff very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We used it as a base for visiting our daughter who is a student in Queens and it is ideal for this. £5 in a taxi or 25min walk to city centre. Plenty of eating options on lisburn Road, Botanic or Stranmillis. Close to Botanic Gardens. We will be returning over the years. Safe secure parking. Great choice and most of all good value
