Maryville House is in a quiet location off the busy Lisburn Road where you can find shopping and many restaurants on the edge of affluent south Belfast. It is a beautiful Edwardian residence with plenty of parking. The staff are excellent ensuring that all in place for the residents. The room was clean as was the bathroom. However, it was... More

The afternoon tea, while not cheap, was absolutely delicious. Lots of fresh sandwiches, and a three tier cake stand full of delicious goodies. Scones with cream and homemade jam, meringues, shortbread, mini choux pastries, mini lemon meringues etc etc.....The setting is elegant, the staff are friendly and we all enjoyed our afternoon tea treat.

The Maryville is on the corner of Maryville park and Lisburn Road. Our bedroom fronted onto Lisburn Road, but there was not a lot of traffic noise at night. Up two flights of stairs, the bedroom was very pleasant and airy, with a large comfortable double bed. The very clean ensuite had a shower. Breakfast was taken downstair in the... More

A delightful find on my first trip to Belfast. It's nice to be this close to the city but have the feeling you are more in a village. The staff are excellent and very attentive. Great breakfast. From a cost point of view it's easy to just step outside the guest house and jump on the bus and be directly... More

I was just there with my husband for a pre-honeymoon. We had a bottle of prosseco waiting for us with flowers. It was amazing. The staff was just the best. This was our first time in Belfast and they offered us the best places to visit. I dont remember the name of the blond lady in black dress who was... More

Lovely B&B in the south of Belfast, a 45 minute walk/10 minute taxi ride from the centre. Our room 'Darjeeling' (all the rooms are named after teas) was on top floor and was big enough for both of us to unpack. There isn't a lift, but even on the top floor we were only up three flights of stairs. Breakfast... More

Had an over night business stop here, what a great little place, half the price of hotels and really quaint. Its clean well maintained and very nice. a beautiful redbrick house with many of its original features very close to plenty of really good restaurants and coffee houses. will use again.

Hi Bill! Thank you for a lovely review! We have noted, it is especially appreciated by business travellers to come to a little homely place, as staying in hotels can be a little impersonal. The lack of a pool & a gym, is compensated ( hopefully) by a more personal hands on service & care. Thanks again and hope to... More

Unfortunately we only stayed one night, so we'll have to visit again. Lovely welcome and very pleased with our room. Plenty of tea and coffee available and complimentary cakes! Very friendly, helpful staff and the breakfast was excellent! The only downside was temperamental water but it's an old building. We will definitely stay again and hopefully soon.
