The location is great, the room was overall very comfortable. However, we had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a member of staff who was incredibly rude and condescending to us. It made us feel unwelcome and completely ruined our stay.

The hotel is like a welcoming beacon at the end of Castle Street. Efficient checkin and a lift to the room. Overlooking Castle Street with views towards the Victoria Square Shopping Centre, the Harland and Wolf cranes and in the distance the Belfast Hills. Clean and functional, the bathroom is a cocoon in the corner of the room. The restaurant... More

Nice looking hotel in a good location but there is zero privacy in the hotel and no space at all to walk around. the shower is a glass door right beside the bed not even in its own room and the room is a sardine can. Im sure there are better hotels elsewhere.

Stayed for three nights over a September weekend. The room we had was larger than most Ibis and we were most comfortable. The location is close to the city centre although immediately surrounding streets feel a little rough. The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. We booked a long time in advance and the price we paid was... More

Only hotel I've stayed at in the world without a fridge of some kind in the room? Bathroom very bizarre, in a sort of capsule in the corner of the room. No bath but an ok shower. No toiletries provided (only soap) so bring your own. Area doesn't feel all that safe; not sure if it is or not just... More

I have stayed in this hotel for 5 nights while on a business trip to Belfast and was a bit disappointed. The hotel is ok for 1-2 nights stay but not for any time longer than that.. The hotel building is facing another building really close so you have to keep your curtains (in brown/red colour!) shut all the time..... More

Although classified as a budget hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. We were allocated a room on the 8th floor which gave us good views over the city. The room was very clean and excellently maintained. Bedding was changed alternate days. The Ibis is within easy walking distance of almost anywhere within the... More
