We stayed in “comfy” last time & it was HUGE. “Dinky” is the cheapest & smallest room & it is all you need. The AC was great, coffee maker & empty frig! Bathroom is smaller but same amenities & VERY clean! We LOVE the location in the cathedral quarter…walk everywhere & lots of live music starting early in the evening. Room is quiet!
**Tip: dinky room has a large bed (American queen?) & is one side against a wall, BUT it has a ledge of about 9 inches between the bed & the wall & it does not extend to the END of the bed, so the person on this side CAN exit the bed without disturbing the other person!**see my pics

We knowingly booked a dinky room as our intention was to only use the room to sleep. We had 1 day/night in Belfast and wanted to make the most of it!
Excellent service on arrival, we were given a list of local sights which we have added to our 'wild Atlantic' way route!
Yes the room is small, but perfectly formed. The room was really clean, the bed was very comfy and really well sound proofed. The roof top is a lovely place to have a night cap.
The location of the hotel is fantastic and the deal with the local q park carpark makes parking easy, just don't use the department store lifts to exit the car park!!!

We were a family of 2 adults and a 3 yo toddler.
We arrived very late so it was great that the reception does working 24 hours and we could check-in smoothly and quick.
Room was nice, big and warm, but the bedding smelled like cat food or something so we could not enjoy the sleep- the smell was strong. Our son fell asleep and it was too late to go to the reception and ask to do something. The baby cot did not have any pillow or blanket.
The water in the shower did not drain as quickly as should be, but the water pressure and hot water all worked well!
The kettle and cups with tea/ coffee sachets were provided.
The view from the room was lovely and the location was great. We appreciated they offer free luggage storage, but overall staying experience is average for the price we have paid.

The hotel is well-appointed, and the rooms are of high quality (far above average compared many to the rest of the UK). The hotel has a great location, close to many bars and restaurants (The National, Dirty Onion, etc.), and is within walking distance of most cultural activities in the city. The hotel staff (who were nice and friendly) gave us a map of various activities in the city, which we found quite usefull.

The hotel's own bars/restaurants on the ground floor are quite nice, though a bit pricey. However, I would recommend eating at nearby pubs and restaurants (such as Yard Bird or McHugh's Bar).

If we visit Belfast again, we will definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

What a groovy place this is! As soon as we walked in, we loved it. The staff were chilled, helpful and efficient. I had to get some urgent post delivered while I was there and was worried that it might get missed, but the lad on reception located it immediately which was a huge relief.
The room was clean and smart. We had the vegan breakfast there for the 2 days we were staying and it was delicious (with vegan sausages and scrambled chickpeas!). We really appreciate anywhere that does a vegan breakfast; We've been to a few places where it's just their regular breakfast but without meat and eggs...so basically, tomatoes, mushrooms, and dry toast (as they don't have any non-dairy spread) - even though we check before booking that they have a suitable option! And they still charge us the same price for the breakfast...anyway enough of moaning about other places! The vegan options here were ace
Central location, parking was only about 50 yards away.
Loved it and will definitely be back

Our first room was tiny, basically size of a king-size bed. Paid upgrade and wasn't much better at all. Staff are so young and unprofessional, quite blunt with no bedside manner. The breakfast was terrible, cold bacon, hard sausage no beans or potato or soda bread. We were not told if pay at reception it would be 5.50 each cheaper. They charged us £20 each for a small breakfast juice and tea. If it would have been nice u wouldn't have minded paying that. Again the staff were very unhelpful and cheeky. One gave us a dirty look! Will never stay here again! So disappointing

Response from Andrew Carson, General Manager at Bullitt Hotel
Responded Dec 7, 2024
Good evening Helen, I'm so sorry to read of your negative recent experience at Bullitt. We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for our guests and so it is always disappointing to hear when we have not achieved our own high standards. I'm sorry to hear our rooms were not to your liking. We have a variety of room types available at Bullitt, from our smaller, dinky rooms, up to our massive biggys, we try to offer something for everyone. We are as transparent as possible on our website so our guests understand exactly what they are booking. It is upsetting to hear that you felt our team were unprofessional and blunt. I am both shocked and disappointed, as our friendly, professional service is something we receive great feedback for on a daily basis. Hopefully I can reassure you that this is entirely out of character and I apologise for any offence caused. I will be sure to investigate and resolve this swiftly and thoroughly. I'm sorry to hear of the confusion around your breakfast. We offer two breakfast options - it can be added in advance for £14.50, or guests can simply order a la carte on the day. I'm sorry if this was not communicated clearly at check in. In regards to breakfast quality, all our breakfasts are cooked fresh to order. We have a wide variety of breakfast options, with each dish description marked on the menu. Unfortunately you may have missed this and expected some items that we do not serve. Thank you again for your feedback, you can be assured we will do our best to learn and improve in future. Please accept my sincere apologies for the issues you experienced during your stay. Warmest regards, Andy.

Had a great stay at Bullitt Hotel. We stayed in one of the end suites and it was very large and quiet. A shower so large you could park a car in it. My only complaint is that with a room so large, it could have had a king sized bed verses the double/queen. The main floor is a collection of open lobby (with bar), outdoor bar (would be fun in warm weather), a nice restaurant and an adjacent cozy cocktail bar. There is also a very nice top floor tapas restaurant. The hotel is on a busy pedestrian street with access to lots of shopping, pubs and restaurants. Parking is off site, but they instruct where to park nearby (we took the train and walked 15 minutes to the hotel). A very nice experience and I'd definitely stay at the Bullitt again.

OMG the minute you walk in you feel so welcomed. Its funky trendy, spotless, rooms have everything you need, loads of towels in the bathroom and both shampoo and conditioner. Fresh milk is supplied every morn. The beds are just sooooooo comfortable and the breakfast the next morning is piping hot and so delicious.
Cant wait to go back

We booked a “Dinky” room—and while size-wise it’s what it sounds like, it had everything we needed! Clean and comfortable bed good for two people, working Wi-fi and television, and clean/well-stocked bathroom. I love the way the room was decorated, and I was SO surprised at how quiet it was in the evenings despite being surrounded by nightlife outside! We were able to leave our luggage with the front desk since we were early for check-in. The staff is very nice and helpful, and they’re eager to provide recommendations for food/pubs/sights!

We liked everything:
- central location, but at the same time parking (High street) just around the corner
- industrial furniture very consistent even in the rooms, beautiful to look at but still comfortable
- large room, as well as bathroom and bed
- good level of cleanliness
- super plentiful breakfast included in our price (you could order as much as you wanted from the menu present also for outdoors)
- comfortable restaurant inside (Sunday night on arrival we took refuge there because it was all full / closed / sad)
- smiling and helpful staff
- in the lobby and outside courtyard there is always movement of people because it seems to be really the coolest place in Belfast!
- reasonable price quality booking a few months in advance
