I stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights, what a lovely hotel this is. The staff were friendly especially Dave and Alison. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was clean and tidy, as the hotel does not have air con we was provided with a fan during our stay. We had a lovely time and would definitely visit this hotel again.

Upon arrival all hotel staff were really friendly and orientated us to our rooms. As we entered the room the room smelt fresh however the bathroom area smelt of an unclean mop which was oozing into the hotel room. The shower water hole was rusty and not pleasant to take a shower in. (Breakfast time) Breakfast was no more then satisfactory 4 small compartments with eggs, bacon, hashbrown and tomatoes which all tasted no greater then satisfactory. Lastly Wifi at the hotel is £3 for 24 hours with only 2 people able to connect at one time which i believe is highway robbery as its rival Premier Inn adjacent to Travelodge has free wifi!! Overall the stay was not that bad but i would still think twice before considering the hotel especially if its for 2 days or more

Great location and Michelle on Reception was lovely and very helpful. We stayed for the Stereophonics 20th Anniversary Gig and after standing all day and night and walking 40 minutes to get back slept like a log nice functional room.

Arrived around 9pm after a long drive of over 4 hours to not a single hello, just told by the guy obviously doing something more important ‘they’ll be with you in a minute’. 5 minutes later we were coldly greeted, given our room card, not told about breakfast, or anything else, just felt a bit of an inconvenience to be honest. Common areas are disgraceful by the way, dirty and unkept. Rooms was good, comfy, exactly what I expect from a cheaper hotel. By the way, close the windows if you want a good nights sleep, seagulls (no ones fault I know) or the Iceland home delivery depot service banging around at 6am disturbs you a lot. Breakfast the next morning was ok, nothing special and had I known Swansea better I’d have gone elsewhere for the price. Second morning breakfast ran out, waited 5 minutes to be replenished (no big issue but again another thing to add to the list). The warmest greeting we had was when leaving which said it all! Having spent a premium for a Saturday night stay when they know it would be full given the local event I’d expect better, but the mantra here feels like ‘you book cheap, we treat you cheap’. Cleaning staff, and one of the guys on reception who sorted my card out when it did work were really nice. But the lack of a warm smile, greeting, long waits when arriving, dirty common areas etc all point to a hotel needing attention by its head office. Just because you’re cheaper doesn’t mean you can’t exceed your customers expectations and having stayed in lots of cheaper chains I was a little disappointed that even the basics weren’t there.
