We had the most wonderful time staying with Christine and Martin. They were so welcoming and we were quite an intrusive bunch! Fabulous breakfast and nothing was too much trouble, we felt very at home and would highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone!
A wonderful welcoming b&b, just like home. It was an overnight stay while we collecting our new adopted dog from Many Tears. Christine made us most welcome, especially our dog who was a bit nervous after a long car journey. The food was excellent and we stayed in the newly refurbished bedroom, just what we needed for a good nights rest. Will definitely return.
Perfect. Such a friendly family run b&b. Christine and family made us feel so welcome and at home. A really lovely location and ideal for our golfing and walking trip to the Gower peninsula. Rooms were large, clean and bright. The dogs (Molly and Lola) settled in straight away enjoying the freedom of the garden and house. Would highly recommend and definitely go back. (3 night stay in the middle of September) the weather was fantastic. Golf at Langland Bay GC, visited Rhossili Beach, Oxwich Beach and walked around the Gower Peninsula Coastal path.
Christine ( and indeed husband Martin) are great welcoming hosts . Nothing was too much trouble when we stayed with our dog in our motorhome at their B&B . We enjoyed some lovely cooked breakfast , were helped with electric, water etc and able to use their comfy sitting room for a cuppa and a chat . A great find and I am sure we will be back. As dog lovers they are welcoming to your furry friends too and gave great recommendations for dog friendly restaurants particularly Shepherds Country Inn up the road . Plus we loved the Caffe Cymuned for afternoon tea in nearby Hendy
A wonderful stay here for 4 nights as we started the Heart of Wales trail with friends. Christine, Martin and their family were so warm and welcoming. You almost felt part of the family immediately! The breakfasts were plentiful and beautifully cooked. The lounge area for guests was very homely and even though it was part of the family home, you didn’t feel as though you were encroaching at all - so relaxing. Our comfortable, spacious double room and en suite bathroom had everything you wanted. It’s a very peaceful area but still within reach of the major roads and beautiful countryside. We can see why people return here time after time after time. Hopefully we will return again too. Thank you. (Diolch!) Good places to eat nearby are The Buck Inn, Pontarddulais, The Shepherds Country Inn in Felindre and in Hendy a lovely little tearoom called Caffi Cymuned which is in the Reading Room and which looks fairly non - descript on the outside, but is glorious on the inside. Also, give the little train from Pontarddulais a go!…
