The apartment itself was spacious, and very well appointed, it had lovely sea views and being on the 8th floor was far from the usual city noise. I enjoyed m stay there very much and will use them again in the future.

I needed a place in Swansea to stay when my daughter graduated this year. I booked the place on Marina Villas with a Space in the City. The apartment is along the Marina ... about 5- 10 minutes walk from the Marriot. There is parking available .. extra cost £5 per night but worth it as there is very little on street parking nearby. The apartment has a gated entrance and fob entry so is secure. This one had 2 bedrooms and was clean and comfortable. Pans were a bit sparse and not too good really but not much cooking going on so no real issues with this. The furniture was modern and in good order. There was an en suite and an additional bathroom. No hairdryer located so if you need one .. take it with you. No basic condiments such as salt and pepper but there was tea/coffee and milk sachets. I needed the place for 2 nights only and very few self catering places will do this. The meet and greet was efficient and on time. The cost was not bad considering the short let. I would go here again and recommend to friends. Free WIFI is available too.

My partner and I booked a 4 day stay at Space in the City Meridian Tower while he had some hospital treatment. We booked through booking.com which says check in is from 2pm - 8pm. Our stay started on a Sunday, and on Sunday morning we get an email saying check in is only until 4pm. There wasn't any way we could get there by that time, so we called the number on the website. As it was a Sunday, the office wasn't open and the only other option was for emergencies. My partner called first, let it ring for over 2 minutes and no one picked up. I tried calling again 5 minutes later and was put through to the Cardiff office almost immediately. They happily listened to our problem and said it was nothing to fret about and they'd get it sorted. We got a call back from the Swansea office about an hour later asking us to call just before we got there so we could be greeted and shown to the car park etc. Once we actually spoke to someone, it was fine, but initially we were really unhappy. When we arrived, we were greeted by Dan who couldn't have been more welcoming and polite. He showed us to the car park and then gave us a tour of the apartment and thoroughly explained how everything worked, including the check out process. The first impression of the apartment itself was stunning. The view is incredible, the decor is modern, the sofa is comfy, the kitchen and bathroom are really nice and everything was clean. Not to mention the location! Marina on one side, beach on the other and the city centre is basically next door. But the bed is incredibly uncomfortable. It's really firm and you can feel every spring. It's also about a hand's width too small for the divan, which I managed to hurt myself on when getting out of bed (I don't really blame anyone but me for that though). Dan mentioned it when showing us around but the fan in the bathroom is really loud. You can turn it off so it's not the end of the world. Other than that the shower was great and there were more than enough quality towels provided. There wasn't any soap in the kitchen and the kitchen roll felt as thin as toilet paper, it fell apart when it got even slightly wet. There were only 2 bowls, and only 2 - completely different - glasses and 1 set of matching cutlery, with the rest of the it feeling incredibly cheap. The microwave was a little unstable as well. I also noticed another reviewer state a really unpleasant, strong smell of cigarettes in the hall. Initially I wrote it off as someone potentially being a bit over dramatic, but the smell is intense, and I'm a smoker! But my biggest gripe was with the kitchen bin. It has a button marked "push" that does nothing, and the only way you can actually open the lid is by putting your thumb against a tiny lip in the middle of the lid that has zero grip and hoping friction does its work, which 70% of the time it didn't. Or use 2 hands, which isn't that easy when you're trying to clean off plates. It was also broken on the bottom. And there was a bin with a foot pedal in the bedroom that we only properly noticed on the final day. I'd have felt awful scraping out plates into that though. To summarise, our first impression with the company (regarding check in times) was pretty bad but was fixed relatively quickly, in a friendly manner and without any further issues. The first impression of the apartment was incredible, especially the view and the location, but it ended up feeling like some things had been done quite cheaply. And ultimately, the incredibly uncomfortable mattress is the deal breaker on whether I would stay here again. Like I said, I wish it had been better.

I needed a 2 bedroom short stay rental, that could accommodate entertaining friends. The accommodation was clean and warm with plenty of space, and all the essentials to prepare meals. The location was within easy walking distance of harbour, beach, super market and city centre for nights out. Linen and towels provided. Currently building work taking place, opposite, this did not spoil our stay. Pre booked car park, this is essential as the pay and display is more costly.

Booked via Booking.com. The confirmation booking info we received did not provide enough information. We used the address/postcode provided and turned up at the right place but no signs to indicate where to go/reception area/even the right building. So we called the tel # provided several times but an answer machine informing us out of office hours, to leave a message and you would respond the next day. Managed to flag someone down outside the apartments who gave us an out of hours number. Someone from Cardiff called us back and said they would call the Swansea person who came about 20 mins later. I had indicated in my booking that I would be there between 7 and 8 pm. Amazed to hear there was a £25 charge for checking in after 8. Would not have booked if I had realised. Was informed this detail was in the booking information but obviously not transparent enough as I completely missed it. I arrived about 7.55pm but person did not meet us until about 8.25pm. I am waiting to hear if I will be charged £25. Person who greeted us was lovely and very understanding/helpful. But only text us to ask us to contact her 1 hr prior to our arrival - I was driving so unable to check texts. Had this information about expecting a text been in the booking confirmation information I would have looked out for it. Apartment as described if not a little tired/cheap furniture - e.g. sank down the side of the settee. But clean and kitchen well-equipped. Nice location with a few nice restaurants within walking distance. Note you will be charged £10 per night to park too. Don't choose if you want a sleep in. Busy quay side building work going on right outside the front door.
