This was an exceptional place to stay--best of our trip. Owners gave good overview of area, and good directions. Drive for day to Cardiff or even Swansea and Gower Peninsula, or Tintin Abbey. Breakfast is wonderful.

An excellent place to stay with lovely rooms, great facilities, very comfortable beds and a fantastic breakfast. Truly 5 star. In addition the hosts were extremely accommodating, helpful and informative about the very many attractions to visit in the area. I only wish we had more time here.

As a professional woman who stays in many hotels all over the country I had never stayed in a bed & breakfast before and booked this because the Celtic Manor was full (I was attending the IFP conference). I have to say this was a fantastic first for me. What a lovely experience. Viv & John were very welcoming and...

My daughter and son in law have just returned from a night in Cardiff, after seeing Michael McIntyre, and stayed at this hotel and raved about the welcome, the service, the room, the food and overall upkeep of such a lovely hotel. They have recommended to us this hotel for when we visit my brother in Wales. Easy access and...

“We particularly liked the fabulously decorated larger room with its beautifully equipped en-suite. With outstanding views from both bedroom windows towards the hills, the valleys and estuary. The second room was very comfortable too, with views down to the estuary, a lovely quiet room. This room was offered with a separate beautiful large well equipped bathroom with walk in shower, and a luxurious deep bath tub, for my use only, so was not a problem not being en-suite.”
