Pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome by staff, have to pay for parking across the road but given a discount code, all the rooms are level2 so away from the barmusic noise. We stayed in room 11 at the front, over the entrance to the bar but the only noise came from the street when other pubs closed. Overall could recommend.

It was a rather small hotel 5 minutes walking to train station and next to shops. The lobby and surrounding was quiet when we checked in at 8pm, but getting noisier by midnight as people partying on the streets (some kinda festival, I was informed), Nevertheless the room was OK, big enough for 2 (ours on 2nd floor). A lady... More

I stay here regularly and as usual on arrival staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean tidy and comfortable, however, bathroom clean where seen hadn't cleaned above head height and behind shower door.

Loud music continues until 2:00 AM, at least on the weekends. After that you can listen to drunk people yelling in the streets until about 5:00 AM. Not to mention the traffic. Room 16 was very hot and could not be cooled down by opening the window since this could only be opened by about 10cm due to safety concerns... More

We stayed for 2 nights and we found it was very good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean with tea, coffee and bottled water, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer. The only bad thing I could say is the hotel is very very hot but there was a fan in the... More
