The hotel was clean and value for money however the lights over the bed and desk did not work. The hotel could generally do with a refurbishment as all the public areas and bedrooms are tired. Breakfast was cooked to order and it arrived promptly and hot The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful

Hotel is conveniently situated near the M4 exit in a quiet, peaceful part of Newport called Langstone. Receptionist and staff very helpful, warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Room extremely clean. Bed very comfortable, nice clean, modern, shower, and an iron and ironing board! Room basic, but clean, and represented value for money. Perfect for a one night...

Good clean basic room. Spent 3 nights here with male fishing mates. Staff very friendly and helpfu. Very clean close to M4 and Cardiff. Easy access for all local amenities. The pub is very busy on an evening, with good pub food.

Best to start with the positives, the receptionist was lovely and took care of us very well. We had a family room which meant our children had their own twin room situated opposite ours, with a bathroom shared between us. This worked well for us. I had read reviews prior to staying and so I knew it was going to...

The Quality of the meals in resturant were not what I expected, portions were small, my steak was chewy and the service was rushed, waiters hovering over me to collect my plate before I had even finished.

Room is clean and as expected, heating works but both lighting did not work at the dressing table, this wasn't a big issue, what really did annoy me was the shower was extremely slow so what would of been a 5 minute shower before rushing out to be somewhere turned in to a 15 minute shower wasting more energy on...

The staff were amazingly helpful, just what I needed after a long tiring ride! Restaurant on site and very...
