We stayed here as a family as we were attending a wedding in a nearby village. The host, Peter, was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast table was beautifully laid out and the breakfast itself was cooked to perfection. Best breakfast away from home that I have had. Thank you...

We have just returned from a weekend here, we stayed with our two young children when attending a family wedding in the village. This place is a real treasure. The rooms were spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. The owners were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, they even gave us a lift to the wedding to save leaving our...

A very nice place to stay. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome by Peter. The room was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. There were plenty of facilities in the room, including a TV, alarm clock and tea making facilities. The area is very green, quiet and peaceful. A lovely location which isn't too far away from Cardiff Bay....

I felt like I was at home from the moment I arrived at Clawdd Coch. The room was so cosy with a much needed bath/shower after walking Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons that afternoon and with stunning Chesterfield sofa to relax and drink my tea on, what more could one need! I enjoyed relaxing in the light and...

This is classed as a 4* rated b & b and certainly deserves it. Spotlessly clean, tv and tea making facilities in the room which was a nice size, with en suite bathroom. It is located in a lovely location but you do really need a car as it is a little out of the way. Our host, Peter, is...

From the moment my wife & I arrived Peter, the host, made us feel almost like family. The room was spotlessly clean with incredible views and the beds were really comfortable.Having opted for the full breakfast we were treated to a meal that was delicious and sufficient to sustain us until the evening. All in all a gem in a fine setting.

Myself , my daughter and her friend stayed here primarily to visit the Dr. Who Experience in Cardiff. Peter, the host, could not have been more welcoming. We were given a beautiful spotless room with a double and 2 single beds, spotless well fitted bathroom, complete with complementary toiletries. A nice selection of teabags, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. It...

My wife and I were married on March 1st and had our reception just up the road from Clawdd Coch so this guest house seemed like an ideal venue for us to spend our wedding night and for other family travelling from afar to stay. We were not disappointed. We booked out the entire guesthouse for various family and Peter...

After a long 4 hour drive on a dark, snowy and cold November evening, we were welcomed at the door by Peter the friendly host. Our room was lovely and warm with a double, two single beds and roomy en suite. The kettle with a choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate with a jug of fresh milk and a...
