We have been coming to the Courtfield now for a few years, ever since we first came across it, and have never wanted to stay anywhere else in Cardiff since. Lovely Victorian house decorated with sympathy and love by the owners - it's not so much staying in a hotel as being allowed into a Victorian home. Norman and Keith... More

Courtfield hotel is clean and comfortable with an exceptional welcome and super friendly staff. We were made to feel welcome from start to finish. Fantastic breakfast ;-) Kevin and Norman run this place with attention to detail and a sense of fun.

A warm welcome was our first impression and that remained throughout our stay. The hotel is full of character and original features which include beautiful stained glass windows. The hotel was full when we stayed but we had a very good quiet nights sleep. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed. And the breakfast .... it was excellent and... More

We stayed at Keith & Norman's hotel to attend the Rod Stewart concert. We thought their hotel was excellent, really central for Cardiff's attractions, They were really good hosts, the room a double was homely & comfortable. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had cooked fresh by Keith. Would recommend this gem to anybody. Would definately stay there again... More

Me and my mum stayed at this wonderful B&B in Cardiff for 2 night, we were off to see Rod Stewart. We had the last two single rooms 14 & 18, both rooms are equipped with a sink and use of a shared bathroom which was absolutely fine, TVs in room and facilities to hang clothes. The Hotel is so... Once again we were fortunate enough to get a room here for two nights, the standards were very good as usual. Every time we visit, Keith has been busy with his paint brush, this time it was the breakfast room, which looked really nice. Always a warm welcome and very homely.

What a treat to stay a whole week at the Courtfield while on a family history adventure. The Courtfield Hotel is a classic Victorian--stained glass windows and lots of fun antiques..with the bonus of a comfy bed, a freshly decorated room and all the modern amenities I could wish for. The heart of the Courtfield rests with the two proprietors,... More

My husband and i spent two nights here while visiting family in Wales as part of our 3-week tour of the UK and Ireland. The Courtfield stood outfit only due to comfort, great breakfasts and location, but especially due to the charm and sparkle of the hosts. Keith greeted us like long-time friends and Norman entertained us every morning while... More
