We stayed here for 2 nights last weeks. The location is so close to plenty of bars and restaurants and our room had a lovely view of the castle. The room itself was smart with an extremely comfy bed. I had a text a few times from the staff asking if they could do anything else to improve my stay. Not quite as good as the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh as they do that before you even check in, but a very nice touch nevertheless. The swimming pool was very nice and all managed in a covid safe way. We managed to book our slot online before we checked in. The breakfast was served by staff in a Buffett format which seems to be the norm at the moment. Plenty of choice and food very tasty. The bar on an evening had a very relaxed atmsophere, and on both evenings, although different staff, all of them were very welcoming and were a credit to the hotel and the Hilton brand. I would just like to express slight disappointment that the executive lounge wasn’t open, but that a side I couldn’t really fault this hotel. When other hotels are bumping their prices up, and the service has a lot a lot to be desired, the Hilton Cardiff seems to be certainly upholding there standards. Would certainly recommend.…

I can honestly say from the moment of check in ( Sara on front desk was so friendly and welcoming ) I was made to feel welcome, Ceri could not do enough for me. Our room was beautiful ( one of the newly refurbished king executive rooms with castle view) the view of the castle was outstanding. There were many amenities to use. It’s my first stay since the refurbishment and they’ve done a wonderful job, the executive lounge was beautiful as was the bar area. I have to add A huge thanks to Rachel for organising it all for me, she truly went out of her way to make sure it was wonderful, can’t wait to go back!

Very nice location, just across the street from the Castle. The location had a friendly and assistive staff. There were many activities shops and restaurants within walking distance of the site, and one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in.

Stayed one night using points. Perfect location near the castle, restaurants, shops and stadium. Super friendly and helpful staff with a person welcome. Bag storage before and after checkout was helpful and room was available early. Will definitely visit again.

Our stay was great. The location is perfect as it's so close to town and everything you need. Checkout is at 12 so we had the chance to use the pool in the morning which was lovely and a main reason for booking. There is also a sauna, steam room and hot tub that can be used. It was our first wedding anniversary and we were really looked after by staff with such a warm welcome in our room and even had an upgrade. I understand this is not always an option but was really appreciated and made our stay even better. Thanks again!

Really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Cardiff. Really nice views of the city and could not hear any outside noise which is impressive with it being a busy Saturday night. It was our wedding night so the hotel arranged a room upgrade which didn’t go unnoticed. Superbly clean room with excellent breakfast. Could not fault!

It's a Hilton, so the quality is fine, but it's not a character property. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. But the rooms are older (and being remodeled as we speak). Location very convenient for the Castle. Lounge pretty plain.

I booked the executive guest suite for myself and 6 year old. Within the time between booking and going a lovely lady named Rachel contacted myself in regards to my daughter's 6th birthday which I thought was amazing. The stay was amazing couldn't have done anything more to make her day so special. Balloons cakes a little not from her favourite Disney character wishing her a happy birthday. The amenities were fabulous. The room was spectacular and my daughter was extremely happy which made me happy. I was so pleased with my stay that I have actually booked for my birthday now and again nothing has been too much trouble for Rachel and team. Thank you
