We have previously stayed here and revisited this weekend. We got there late (9pm) and were warmly welcomed. We ate here for our evening meal and enjoyed Fizz Friday which was a free bottle of prosecco when 2 people have 2 courses! Great room with all mod cons, breakfasts were huge made with local ingredients. We will definitely return

We stayed at this nice, well placed pub for two nights this week. The staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. The bar prices were pretty reasonable and the bar food I had (bruschetta) was good value for money and very tasty. Our room was modest, but very clean. We had a comfortable large bed and the window had a louvre... More

I stayed here with my wife for 2 nights recently. The room was quite small, but reasonably equipped. The bathroom was a reasonable size but slightly let down by the shower curtain and the stained grout around the bath mixer taps. The towels could also been of better quality. We got a very nice welcome, and all of the staff were... More

Ate here last week, a late tea and random trip out meant we found our way here, quaint looking pub in the middle of Llandaff City. Bit pricey on the large glass of wine (£6.50) but the food was exceptional. Waited around 25 mins for food to come to table but I guess that's expected for a fresh home cooked... More

Piped in for lunch, 5 of us and they really were not busy. Drinks ordered and served quickly but food was embarrassingly slow and not worth the wait! I had to remind them of our desser order then still had to wait ages even though none were made, it was all pre-prepared. Wouldn't return

Have eaten here many times when I still lived in Cardiff & the food, service, wine list, beer choice & atmosphere has always been fab, better since the refurb this place had a few years ago. Having moved away a couple of years ago, I recently stayed overnight & was not disappointed. We are in the evening, both of us... More

LLandaff is a nice place to visit and stay for Cardiff, which is easily accessible. Great rooms with bath in bedroom plus a nice bathroom with fluffy towels.Great décor and nice artwork on the walls (if that's important!). Room appeared to be very clean and well maintained. Great comfortable bed, an efficient A/C. Nice, friendly welcome on arrival and rear... More

Only a couple of miles from the centre of Cardiff, half that from SWALEC so booked two nights either side of ODI Cricket and left the car at Maltsters. Clean, comfortable bedrooms with little noise from the busy pub/restaurant. Good breakfasts, evening meals perfectly acceptable but need to book as very popular at weekends. Particularly welcoming, friendly and efficient staff.

Stayed for two nights, room comfortable, breakfasts great, easy free parking, convenient for city, with advantage of not being in it. Dinner menu gave good choice, service was good. Had all the advantages of a hotel with out the hotel costs.
