Stayed for just one night Dinner Bed & Breakfast. We'd been before (in 2010) and I wanted a quick break before going into hospital so we opted to return here on 15th Feb. The main communal areas are nicely furnished and the bedroom was comfortable although the flow of water in the shower was rather poor. Dinner was nice the...

A stunning country house hotel with lovely comfy sofas and open fires. The afternoon tea was quite nice with a good and ample selection of cakes. A little disappointed with the sandwich selection, which was mainly egg, but this was put right when we brought it to their attention. However we also had to ask for fresh tea and coffe...

I stayed here on a business trip with 5 colleagues. The rooms are of a good standard. Disappointingly there is no hair dryer (if you had long hair your struggle). Staff are helpful and polite. The breakfast is goo (didn't have anything cooked, but lots of fresh fruit). Would I come with my family? Possibly, but it's quite quiet. They're...

A lovely warm welcome and brilliant room! We stayed for one night when attending a party in the local area. The hotel is undergoing some work and therefore very quiet but all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful when we went in and we found it very comfortable. Bad points I noticed: the bathroom needs replacing...

Had the most rememberable wedding you could ask for at this venue! From selecting the venue when we 1st got engaged to the wedding breakfast, the whole process was made so easy and stress free. The event organisers made the whole day flow so simple, really fine detail and everything in place. All our guests said it was the best...

I stayed here for 8 weeks Sunday - Thursday while I was on a course. I can't say how highly I recommend this hotel. The rooms are fantastic and really comfy beds. I stayed in about 7 different rooms and they were all as good! Breakfast and evening meals are top notch. As I was away from home for so...

Business travel doesn't have to mean cheap chain hotels... This was a lovely alternative, a beautiful old building that I heard was a girls reform school once upon a time! Just stayed one night & had to work so not long to explore but I could see great views & there is a gym & sauna I didn't get to...

we booked the hotel for a staff Christmas party and whilst I must admit to disliking Christmas parties as generally the food at these events is terrible, the Coed Y Mwstwr was pretty awesome! The venue is fantastic and looks great inside and out, the staff were good, the venue excellent and the food, both hot and of a good...
