Very enjoyable stay. Not the smartest place I have stayed at but very comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely bar with excellent guest ales on tap. Delicious roast lamb for dinner. The staff were very friendly. Definitely book to stay again in the future.

Had a meal last evening. The duck was really good, plenty to eat. If you want to eat anywhere past sennybridge I would recommend this place. The guest ale was smashing. Unfortunately it was a little quiet as the weather was bad. So I Think that was the reason. We'll be back. Thank you

Have visited this hotel several times now and will definitely do so again. As it is a very old building, it must be difficult and expensive to maintain but when we were there it was near the end of outside decoration, which has improved the appearance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, some with bath and some with shower so... More

We had a great room. Bedroom and sitting area. Good access to Brecon National Park A bar in the hotel. Good breakfast included. They also have a restaurant for dinner. Trecastle is a very small Welsh village.

We have just come back from having had a wonderful stay in Trecastle at the Castle Coaching Inn. The food was fantastic with a great varied menu that was printed out daily. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. John and his wife were fantastic hosts and could not have been lovelier or more helpful at pointing us in the... More

My family and I went to the Castle Coaching Inn for a birthday meal. We all ordered something different and every dish was absolutely delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxing (even with a toddler in tow!) I'd recommend it to everyone.

We stopped in here on our way home from a weekend away and it was well worth it! The welcome was warm and friendly, menus were quickly handed to us and the special board was pointed out, and the choice was extremely good. I had the steak and ale pie, wifelette had the loin of pork and they were quite... More

Having booked a nice break away for my partner and I (via laterooms) we were so excited to get to our hotel. The pictures online looked great and the rooms lovely and comfy. Upon arrival it was difficult to recognise the hotel from the photos as it's currently covered in scaffolding. The carpark was not signposted and so I popped... More
