My family and I stayed at the Brecon Castle hotel at the end of December and it was great. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everyone we met at reception, bar and restaurant made us feel at home. Whilst visiting we ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was great and reasonably priced. Our party...

Having just left the excellent Abergavenny hotel we were hoping for, even expecting, another Welsh gem. Sadly this was far from a Gem, the receptionist was nice and we were given room 56, this was at the top of the hotel and a serious climb up several staircases along occasional wonky floors and whilst the corridors were OK the room...

This place is a little gem! The location is perfect - right in the Brecon town centre and just a short walk from the hotel. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in June 2016 and I was back again in October for another 2 nights. We had a Superior Room on the first stay and I booked a...
