We stopped here for a short break primarily to do some walking in the area. The Old Mill is absolutely beautiful and in a nice quiet location far enough away from the main road yet handy for getting into Brecon and the surrounding area . The hosts were very welcoming and cooked us a lovely breakfast . The room was... More

Stayed for x1 night bed and breakfast for a friends wedding, arrived a little late for wedding and the owners were both supportive in allowing us to get ready quickly, organised local taxis for our return journey and after cooking up a hearty breakfast we were offered a lift to pick our vehicle up from the wedding venue. Wish we... More

Great first night stop at this bed and breakfast. Fantastic couple looking after us. Great breakfast. The rooms are very nice with comfortable bed. They even helped us to settle the horses for the night. They are happy to prepare packed lunches and dry wet clothes. Worth a stay with or without your horse

We have just returned from our second visit to the Mill. Pam and Hyden are the most welcoming hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. They provide a lovely warm welcome every time we visit. The rooms are very comfortable and of a high standard. Pam cooks up the best cooked breakfast complete with their own free range... More

We had not booked just found it by accident and so glad we did. Pam welcomed us said she would get the room ready as previous guests only just left - offered us tea and biscuits in the garden. Recommended the pub over the road which was a wonderful award winning restaurant. The room was beautiful and in the morning... More

We stayed at the Old Mill for one night whilst on a self guided trail ride from Freerein. We, and our trusty steeds, were welcomed warmly and we were exceptionally well looked after - our riding boots had even been cleaned by the time we left the following morning. The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and... More

I have been coming to the Old MiIl for some 25 years. It is an excellent place, always scrupulously clean and comfortable without any pretensions. Great breakfasts set me up brilliantly for a day of hill walking. Pam and Haydn give a warm welcome and a great feeling of home.
