This B and B is clean, comfy and central to the town of Brecon. The Beacons and Pen y Fan are a bus ride away. The new owners are friendly, helpful and produce good food. And there's even drying room. Highly recommended!

The room is superb! It's like you're in a hotel. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is really nice. The breakfast is amazing. You can just ask for what you want. The B&B is just 1/2 streets away from the centre. I really recommend this b&b!

We stayed here for 2 nights and could not fault anything. John and Christine were very welcoming and helpful. The guest house is a short walk from the town and parking is nearby. The room was immaculate, very clean, had a comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was freshly cooked using locally sourced produce. I would not hesitate... More

Stayed 3 nights whilst exploring the Brecon Beacons. Super Bed & Breakfast and a great base for travelling around. Clean rooms, great breakfast and Christine & John were super hosts. We wish them all the best in the Ty Helyg. Definitely return for another visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here, not only did we receive a very warm welcome on arrival, we found Christine and John very approachable and helpful throughout our stay. The B&B is spotlessly clean and our twin room was spacious with a super ensuite. Lovely breakfast too. We would not hesitate to return here, in fact we hope... More

We stayed here for one night whilst having a travel around Brecon. The B&B was absolutely immaculate, accommodating hosts, a very comfortable stay, great location and really good quality breakfast. Brecon centre itself hasn't got a huge amount to offer but I would definitely recommend this place as somewhere to stay if travelling through. Really lovely.

We spent the weekend at Ty Helyg for our first time in Brecon, and with an experience like that, it absolutely won't be our last! Christine and John couldn't be more welcoming when we arrived, telling us the best place to park for free close by. The room was so lovely, a nice top floor room with a view of... More

Really lovely place to stay in. Everything was pristine and in good condition. Fab full breakfast. And nothing was too much for the landlady. We were a party of six cyclists and she was able to store all our bikes at the back of the B&B. Great place to stay in. Highly recommended.

My sister and I took part in Trekfest and stayed two nights at Ty Helyg it was great. Lee and John really looked after us from the initial phone call booking the room. Room was very well decorated and extremely comfortable with all mod cons. We had a best twin room and it was large and very quiet on the... More
