If you are in town and stuck for somewhere to have lunch this is my recommendation. Sandwiches or full meal then their lunch menu is for you. Very reasonably priced to. Only on Monday to Friday, but call in you will be pleasantly surprised. Because we live close to Wrexham we have never stayed here just dined.

Stayed here a couple of times and had the benefit of seeing three different rooms, two doubles and one single. The Lemon Tree is both an interesting place to stay and eat. The rooms in the main building are the best - quirky and interesting and the food is reasonably good - but if you feel like exploring a short... More

I come to stay here fairly regularly and have reviewed the Lemon Tree before. Yesterday's lunch was excellent, good quality ingredients and inexpensive. We ordered a sandwich but it was a very good sandwich, which came with salad and crisps for £6.50. I thought this was a bargain. Well done for your high standards, Lemon Tree

We booked the Lemon Tree on our 45th Wedding anniversary and even from the booking stage the staff were more than helpful. We were told that they would put us in one of their best room. The room was small but quaint, the bed was very comfortable. We had afternoon tea an evening meal and breakfast which were all served with... More

All good very helpful staff, room recently updated and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good too. Only down sides: Room 2 was quite noisy at the front and they forgot to replace towels on second day- a quick call to reception resolved the issue though?

Arrived to a really friendly welcome and cosy if small bedroom. Had a fantastic dinner, everyone really enjoyed their imaginative, tasty and well cooked meal. Lovely coffees from illa machine, excellent! Went to bed early for an early start in the morning. Hadn't realised our bedroom was over the kitchen with an incredibly noisy extractor unit which ran till late.... More

My Husband and I decided to take my Grandmother for lunch as she had never been. The food had always in the past been great, but this time quite poor. The service and attitude of one on the waitresses was also very poor. My husband and I ordered the Red Pepper Burger, expecting as described on the menu with Meat.... More

Arrived late evening. Reception and bar service was good, restaurant looked very welcoming. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable, could do with a little updating. The building has lots of character. Breakfast was fantastic.

We chanced upon this while searching online for a reasonably priced one night break; the price was very good, Wrexham was within easy reach and the restaurant looked fantastic, a mid 19th Century Gothic house conversion. As the deal included afternoon tea, a bottle of wine and £30 towards our evening meal as well as the night's bed and breakfast... More
