Went today with a friend for the sparkling afternoon tea which was delicious. Lots of sandwiches, bara brith, cake, scone and syllabus. We certainly didn't go home hungry! Staff were extremely pleasant and didn't complain or make us feel awkward when we were still there talking 4 hours later! Thanks very much.

We stayed 1 night here, and loved the place, we had afternoon tea, a 3 course festive meal, and it was excellent, the room was warm cosy and very clean, and a really comfy bed, the breakfast was really tasty and made to order, the staff are really pleasant and cannot do enough for you, we will definitely return to...

Arrived late Friday evening for anniversary celebration weekend and were greeted by very friendly staff who were incredibly busy. Found it strange that was asked to pay upfront for room there and then but thought okay, maybe it's their policy. As had travelled straight from work for nearly two hours asked if could order food and was able to order...

We stayed one night while travelling between places. Rooms were comfortable and well fitted out. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere, and easy walking distance to central Wrexham.

We had one of the best meals in a very long time. I strongly recommend the Basil Panacotta for a starter!! It was delicious. The Salmon fillet was cooked to perfection. All four of us enjoyed the food and fantastic wine Edulis Rioja. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant atmosphere was lovely.

This is a difficult review to do and could have potentially been a one star. Firstly we were made to pay the full weekend amount which was fine but then we went up to the room (number 10) which was really noisy and smelly i soon realised the extractor fan for the kitchen is hidden inside a cupboard by the...

The portions served at dinner were very small. I sent my soup back because it was luke warm and it was served in a tiny bowl. The service was also very slow. The room was a bit on the small size for a twin and the bathroom was not very clean. The internet connection was very slow and we were...
