The hosting couple could not have been more accommodating. They really went the extra mile in every aspect with a truly excellent breakfast, great recommendations for the local area, and little touches such as putting out fresh milk outside the room for our tea every morning. The room itself was beautiful and, as is the whole manor, full of character.... More

Just had 2 nights with my kids at Worthenbury Manor. We took both room so had the place to ourselves. Great host, great place, great breakfast. wonderful views with what looked like a really nice garden as well, although we didn't get out to view it properly. If you are in the area it would silly not to stay here!

Quirky in the best possible way. A lovely old house. Great breakfasts. Would recommend this to anyone who likes the idea of country house living. And Ian was a delight - friendly without being over familiar.

Only stayed one night as a late Easter treat. The Manor House itself is full of period furnishings and the bedroom and ensuite facilities were wonderful with all the little extras you don't often have. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves and had a wonderfully relaxing evening in the comfortable sitting room. Ian was a fabulous host... More

A pure indulgence. A perfectly furnished room, it was like staying in a stately home, dark wood, beautifully carved four poster, huge bath, moulton brown toiletries, soft and fluffy robe and towels, delicious breakfast with a choice of 5 or more homemade marmalades, welcoming host, will definitely be going back.

This is an ideal location for Chester and Wrexham. The manor is beautiful and the host a real gentleman. Nothing is too much bother and the breakfast was delicious. We will most definitely be returning in the new year. A fabulous little location with old world charm.

We booked this B&B for an end-of-season break at the end of October/beginning of November, because of the reviews and the great package price. We weren't disappointed. The Manor has been tastefully and faithfully restored with period furniture and authentic decor throughout. The very spacious bedroom and equally roomy bathroom were both very clean, warm and exquisite with four poster... More

Down the country lanes, and not far from either Wrexham or Chester, lies this hidden manor house. Beautifully constructed home with a magnificent nostalgic air, Ian and his charming family welcome you to his establishment. Boasting of a bespoke service, B&B or even dinner, I will heartily recommend.
