This small B and B is located at the foot of Snowdon and also the Nantlle Ridge. The hosts were charming and welcoming and, whilst small, the rooms are well-equipped with interesting artefacts from the owners`travels. There were nice touches such as adaptor plugs for overseas guests and the facility to dry one`s boots. Breakfast is served in the tea-room and... More

This is a perfect establishment to enjoy a cream tea at the end of a long day walking. It is a very charming, cosy and friendly place to recuperate and enjoy some guilt-free homemade cakes. In fact, you should treat yourself to an afternoon tea and cake here as part of your trip, whether or not you have been scaling... More

We've had a great weekend at Ty Mawr thanks to Emma and Menno's hospitality. Not only have we been spoilt for choice in terms of homemade food, but also been advised on bus & train timetables when needed. We're already looking forward to our next stay! Alex & George, Coventry

This place is a little tea-room with a potpourri of furniture and souvenirs from around the world, that make it very individual. Here you can have homemade cakes, scones and pancakes. In the first floor of the small house are three rooms, one ensuite, the other two small rooms share one bathroom. It's not luxury but homelike, clean and gemuetlich.... More

We stayed here the end of March - booked for a friday and saturday night quite short notice. Arrived late on the Friday - MUCH late in the night than planned - but nothing was too much trouble for Emma and Menno. We were treated to great breakfasts, comfy rooms, great hospitality and lots of walking advice for our hike... More

We stayed over Christmas and Emma and Meno were great. Made us feel at home.the room was very clean, cousy and comfortable. The breakfast really nice, the tearoom lovely to be at and the location is perfect. The only downside is we couldn't stay longer!holidays are always short when you are having a great time.

As I live locally I have never stayed at the B & B but I would highly recommend this cosy tearoom. We call in regularly when cycling or walking for lunch or tea and have always had excellent food, served by the friendly owners Emma and Menno. Such is the attraction of the place that when we have visitors to... More
