It's a budget hotel in Snowdon for people who want to walk. We came for the 3 Peaks Challenge and stayed. It is dated! It is old! I would have liked a toilet seat on the toilet and a light in the hallway so I can search for the toilet. But, if you are only spending £25 pp what do...

The interior of this hotel is very dated. Shame about the lack of modern washing facilities. Bathrooms need refurbishing and rooms need decorating. On the plus side though the breakfast was good. The beds were clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the perfect location for walking Snowdon. The start of Snowdon is...

Yes, the place does seem to be falling down around you and the dark passages are possibly haunted by the spiders that live in the public bar toilets, but the beds were clean and comfortable, the shower just about did the job and the breakfast was good. All in all fine for £25, I would probably go back for the...

Visiting Llanberis, wanted somewhere for a drink early evening. Went in through what appeared to be the main entrance into a conservatory type area, not a soul in sight. The place appeared shut apart from a bar with a snooker table which looked equally dark and gloomy. Still not a soul in sight, so decided to give it a miss.......never...

Fabulous place at that price. Family run, copious hot water (always important as you walk off the hills), friendly staff, the bar was full of locals which is always a good sign. Great breakfast ........ what more to say. I'll use the place again without thought.

First the bad points. There was the odd cobweb in a hard to reach corner, implying housekeeping wasn't quite on the ball. One of the bath tubs could do with replacing, although the next nearest bathroom was fine. Overall, the place could do with a refurb, but then they'd justifiably be charging far more than £25 per night for a...

Amazing deal for £25 including breakfast. If you are looking for a luxury then avoid it. I would recommend it to people who prefer to spend their time on climbing and not in the room watching tv. Rooms are very basic, we had a small bathroom in our (enough to take hot shower). Very nice welcome (even that we came...

Stayed here for 1 night and just about managed that. The staff not helpul, was told "your rooms upstairs go left" about 5 minutes later I found it. The room was very small with a single bed, their website described each room having a colour tv, mine had a tv ariel port, so if i had brought my own tv...

Other reviewers have already commented on this being at the budget end of the accommodation range in Llanberis. We had a friendly & warm welcome, comfy beds, enough breakfast to get us up & down mountains both days & a thoroughly enjoyable stay - all that for £25 per night. I can't see what there is to complain about. If...
