This is a great country house , currently being used by HF Holidays, I spent 5 days there , and it was wonderful. The food was 4 star quality , all of the staff, were friendly , polite and very helpful. The walking group were a great bunch and everyone got on well. Lots of great times, great food and... More

Beautiful location and charming, quirky building. Room large and comfortable with wonderful view, but noise from people in the common room/lounge immediately below was intrusive late in evening. Breakfast was excellent with friendly and fast service, good variety and freshly cooked hot food. The hotel is used by lots of walking-group holidays so has a sort of up-market hostel feel... More

Second visit for two nights stay but mixed experience. My pleasant expectations were upset from the start when my online booking went missing. Manager recovered the situation after a shaky start and went so far to argue my case so well that my whole bill was waived. Unnecessary but a very nice gesture. Craflyn is a special place, comfortable and... More

Definitely worth a visit if walking or touring in this beautiful area. Visit copper mine just a few hundred yards away. Alternatively walk along the river bank on nice footpath to quaint village of Beddgelert. The "house" provides excellent quality food with generous portions. You can specify small/large portions if you wish. Drying room for walking boots and wet weather... More

Lovely Hotel in a fabulous location. This was a walking weekend with HF Holidays and once again we were very well looked after. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. I was in room 15 in the stable block which was lovely. Great shower and a VERY comfortable bed. Plentiful supply of food and excellent service from the staff. 👌🏻

Stayed here for 3 nights in the Hall - an excellent base for walking in this beautiful part of Snowdonia. Our room was clean comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfasts were very good - large selection of cereals and a variety of hot goodies. A useful "Discovery Centre" which had some walking route cards and waterproof 1:25000... More

Couldn't recommend this more, lovely hotel in gorgeous grounds. Very relaxing. We stayed in one of the stable rooms, this was just perfect, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Made to feel very welcome by the manager Brigitte. We will definitely return, but will book a longer stay next time. Mr and Mrs Ashton x

I stayed in the converted stables and found the room comfortable and clean. Great place to stay and peaceful area. My first HF holiday which lived up to friends' recommendations. My room was quirky with slate, tiled floor and stable bars in the windows. Communal areas were comfortable too and we were well looked after.

We stayed here at half term for a few days. I started off with a few niggles, we could only get a bedroom with a toilet and the en-suite bit was very small, also the room was at the top of the stairs with the potential for everyone to look in at you when the door was open. The shared... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay at Beddgelert. We've passed on your comments to the chef regarding the high quality of the food particularly the pannacotta! We use large dining tables to create a sociable atmosphere, although of course this may not be ideal for family groups wishing to sit together. We look... More
