Recently stayed at this hotel for three nights. The home cooked food was simply fabulous as was the location and views from a very comfortable room. The two girls who waitressed and helped on reception were exceptional with helpfulness, friendliness and efficiency. Would definitely recommend this hotel - unfortunately it has been sold so hope the new owners are able to keep up the very high standards of cleanliness and service.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a fantastic time. Hotel very clean. The staff were so helpful, they couldn't do enough for you. The food was wonderful too. It us a shame that the hotel has been sold, but hopefully the new owners will make sure the hotel is just as good.

My partner and I stayed here for one night as we love bedgelert. We had decided to spoil ourselves and have the 3 course meal as advertised on website for £27.50. So when we arrived and looked at the menu we noticed that a good half of the choices had addition prices next to them from £3 upwards. We were told this is because "everything has gone up"!! Strange...when I go for a meal or afternoon tea for example I dont expect the price to have changed when I get there and told "oh scones have gone up"!! I also understood it was all homemade. Well it certainly wasnt. I had duck spring rolls that were rock hard and frozen ones. Also when the waitress was serving main course she brought potatoes and veg (frozen hollow sauce potatoes you buy in farm foods) all out at the same time for all 8 tables. Then went back to kitchen for meat and brought all that out for all 8 tables, by which time the frozen potatoes and veg were cold. How can you serve 8 tables at the same time and expect it to be hot. Next came dessert. We were asked if we would like dessert. To which I asked if it was homemade. She told me it was. Well it definitely wasnt. It was one of those round sticky toffee puddings you get 2 for a pound in iceland. Yuk it was awful and certainly not worth £6.50. In fact the whole meal was not value for money at all. £33 for frozen food!! Awful. Breakfast was just ok but very dry indeed. The food certainly let our trip down and would not recommend to eat here. My pet hate is cold food and frozen ingredients!!

Just returned from a 2 night stay. This hotel is set in such a picturesque perfect place. Stunning views and just a few minutes walk from the centre of Beddgelert. Our room was very clean and had an amazimg view you could see from the very comfortable bed. Owner and staff were very welcoming, so friendly and the staff worked really hard to make sure all guests had everything they wanted. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a really peaceful hotel in a great setting.

Bedgellet is beautiful, the hotel is very well positioned , Breakfast very nice, Oldy worldy but not historic think 70s , room ok view great but not really worth the money, The owners has a certain sardonic sence of humour could be interpreted differently I suppose, Love Beddgellet but with experience would stay in the saracens.
