Able to book online at a few hours notice when sent back from Dublin having inadequate paperwork. That despite 00:30 arrival. Greeted by charming, helpful receptionist and allocated a large double. Nice comfortable bed, and nice bathroom with small bath and shower. Very reasonable price, albeit without breakfast. Recommended.

I stayed here with my family over the bank holiday weekend. It was everything that I would normally do expect from Travelodge. Check in was swift and the guy on reception was friendly. The room was clean. Holyhead itself was a bit rundown but this Travelodge is great as a base to explore the island. Good free car park which is a bonus these days.

Stayed at holyhead for two nights over the bank holiday, hotel was very busy but had a very peaceful and quiet stay and sleep. Extra towels available and good amenities. Effective measurements in place regarding social distancing. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay with travelodge. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for 1 night before catching the boat to Ireland for a family emergency. On arrival we was greeted by 2 receptionists Shelley and a young lad, both very inviting. Our room was spotless and everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Wish we stayed under better circumstances as the receptionists explained about local things to do, will visit again.

Booked for one night whilst visiting family and the pricing was very reasonable for 2 rooms. Reception was friendly on arrival and any staff we did see were too. My issue was the room smelt of stale cigar smoke so we opened the window and informed reception who did offer to move us if it didn’t improve but it wasn’t as bad when we came back later on and it was just for one night. Beds were comfy and extra pillows available. What I did find unpleasant was in the sink was some spring onions heads stuck in the plug - I would have though this would have been picked up in cleaning. I had to remove it as it was not a nice sight when brushing your teeth. I would probably stay again for a night but no longer. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and I would hope the issues on cleanliness were a one off.
