We booked this lodge last minute as we didn't get accommodation at any other place due to half term weekend. We were not expecting much because of the reviews. But it was better than what we expected. Decent spacious rooms with basic amenities. The breakfast was typical English and host Sarah was quite accommodating. The location is right in middle...

This accommodation is very conveniently located within the town centre of Holyhead and a stones throw of the Ferry port to Ireland. The owner was very pleasant, and hard working. She was the only person we saw the whole visit, so I'm guessing a large house kept clean and making her an honest living is worth commending. Some improvements maybe;...

The accommodation is very close to the ferry terminal which is great and it was easy to get a parking space outside the B&B. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Shower was hot and breakfast was well stocked. The decor wasn't to our taste, but that's a minor thing. For a family, you pay per person which was...

The Ferry Lodge is in need of a good refurb but Sarah the manager is very friendly and goes out of her way for you. If your not too fussed about staying in somewhere unclassy but adequate then this is for you, overpriced for what you get I must stay, we stayed in the lap of luxury this weekend in...

GOOD POINTS: Room was clean, bedding was clean and there was a fan in the room. NOT SO GOOD POINTS: Bed awful, my 62yr old hubby slept on the floor. Lack of any staff, did not see a soul. We arrived on a Tuesday just after 4pm, no excuse not to have a human greet us, very bad for business....

Stayed for a few nights through work needs. Struggled to find anywhere and we stumbled in to a good welcome and immediately sorted is a room without any hassle. Clean and tidy and very conveniently placed for all our needs as we were working close by.

Sarah was quite friendly and kindly left the key in a coded box for us, as we were arriving after midnight. (I wish more B&B's had this option, as it's very practical!) The room was on the first floor (no lift), and was quite large with a double and a single bed. It was clean and the shower pressure was...
