I visited for a weekend in January with my family. The rooms are perfect and views are amazing. All the staff can't do enough for you ( thanks for making our break extra special) also the breakfast is delicious with lots to choose from. Again thanks to all of you and we will be visiting again. 5* 👍👍

We stayed here for two nights just before Christmas. We regularly visit Holyhead but this was our first time at Blackthorn Farm. Glad we had sat nav as finding it after dark would have been hard. Bedroom was on the small side and the ensuite was the size of a wardrobe. The louvre door on the ensuite didn't impress either....

This place is ideally situated on Anglesey. Fantastic location and close to Holyhead. We had a great stay. Lovely clean rooms, delicious food and very friendly staff. They couldn't do enough for us. We would certainly recommend this place if you need a place to stay when you are visiting North Wales or the island.

We stayed at Blackthorn Farm some 10 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was with some trepidation that we booked to stay here again as a return visit rarely lives up to expectations. However, I am pleased to say that we needn't have worried. Richard and his team are as welcoming as ever; the choice and quality of...

I found Blackthorn Farm B&B through Booking.com and, impressed by all the great reviews, I went ahead and booked. We arrived later than expected and it was already dark. To walk into the warm, homely hall at the end of a day of walking in mixed weather felt just wonderful! We were in the Trearddur View room which was very...

We stayed for one night, after catching the ferry from Dublin. Richard went out of his way to make us, and our dog, feel at home, and comfortable. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. As we arrived late, we made special arrangements to get in and find our room - this was made very simple...

A truly wonderful place to stay. Blackthorn farm is a beautiful B&B on the coast. I stayed in the top room which was cosy, warm and was cleaned everyday by the housekeeper. Everything was replenished each day snacks, tea's coffee's and fresh new towels and clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable too and had a skylight view of the stars...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Blackthorn Farm is a family run Bed & Breakfast and campsite. Set in 18 acres of outstanding beauty, Blackthorn Farm has stunning views for everyone, whether you are camping or staying as guests in one of our eight Bed and Breakfast rooms. If you prefer to stay in self catering accommodation, we have a number of options available to you, both on site and in the Trearddur Bay area. We are within walking distance of one of the two Blue Flag beaches Trearddur Bay has to offer, and there are a multitude of coves, rock pools and smaller beaches all along the coastal road that leads in to Trearddur Bay, which is less than two and a half miles long. We are licensed to sell alcohol and we are no more than ten minutes drive away from several popular restaurants and pubs while maintaining the quietness one would expect from a much more rural location. The area itself is popular with people with all sorts of hobbies, from water sports to horse riding to bird watching and has lots of wonderful, well mapped walks to explore. ... more   less
