Stayed in this hotel so many times and cannot rate it enough, so brought my wife bank holiday weekend. its the first time shes visited llangollen and agreed we will definatley be back. Can not fault this hotel, from the warm welcome on checking in to the moment we checked out, everything was just perfect.

Having stayed at this hotel several times over the past few months I can honestly say I'm astonished at some of the ridiculous reviews I have read on here my stay is always very comfortable and rooms are always remarkable clean , yes it goes without saying they could do with being touched up here and there but having stayed... Had an absolute amazing time at this hotel Friends of ours got married there. The venue for the ceremony was ideal with a spectacular view of the Llangollen valley and beyond .The wedding meal was faultless and very well organised from start to finish everyone (50) enjoyed it . The reception was well catered for (100) guests. We stopped over night... More

This hotel is brilliantly situated between Llangollen and the Aquaduct. Staff very friendly and welcoming and food is great . We booked superior suite which overlooked the canal and was extremely comfortable. We had problem with the t.v but was changed immediately. The staff could not be more helpful

What a fantastic place for a hotel! beautiful views and a perfect setting along the canal. this place could be exceptional but there are a few points that let them down. staff are very polite and helpful but need a little more training they need to be more "switched on" and customer focussed. We ate there on the first night.... More

You wil struggle to find a better location for a hotel. To wake up and look out on to the hill housing Castell Dinas Bran is quite something. The other side of the hotel has a similar "wow" view of the river. This really should be a fantastic hotel. Someone commented on the drive to the hotel. It suggests a... More

Arrived here for surprise birthday weekend treat booked by my hubby . Splendid drive down the track all tree lined meeting in the middle like an archway . Large car park black and white building beautiful grounds. Stepped inside and was initially disappointed as it was really old fashioned inside dark leather furniture and dark wood panelled inside . But... More

Stayed here on Wednesday 10th August 2016. Beautiful position in the valley and a great lead up to the hotel via a tree lined entance. Building is mainly very old and authentic. Loved the ornate ceiling in the bar/lounge. Chise a superior room but disapointed due to the out dated aspects. A nice four poster and some modern painting, however... More

We last stayed here several years ago and places do change but we were disappointed. Rooms are tatty although the views are amazing and the bed wasn't comfortable - new mattress needed in room 11! Shower over bath was ok and the towels were very good. Dinner was ok but we remember the food being really good here - not... More

We stayed here on our way to Snowdonia. Wish we hadn't. The room was disgusting. Carpets looked as though they had never been cleaned. There was even carpet on the steps up into the bath! There were inches of dust everywhere, mainly on top of all the areas that couldn't be reached without stretching. The taps had think grime. Would... More
