The setting of Bryn Howel Hotel is lovely, with nice walks, countryside and canal. The staff were OK. We went to see the hotel as we have a wedding in July. The bar menu was very good we had 2 Ham, Eggs and chips was lovely but a bit big! The hotel lounge was a bit old.

We stayed overnight on 15th May . We arrived a little early but the room was ready. It was a big room with a lovely view . Pity about the huge extracture fan from the kitchen though! We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meal. I suppose if you could fault it we felt that there wasn't much atmosphere...

This hotel is in a fantastic and very peaceful setting with great views and easy access to some lovely walks. Our room was big and comfy but it's in danger of becoming very tired. The bathroom needs renovating and the hotel needs to remove the tacky red LED lighting from around the outside of the hotel. The hotel has huge...

If there is an example of management giving up on a business then the Bryn Howell is it. This could be such a lovely hotel as it's in beautiful settings and has some fantastic original internal features. Entering your room however and you get the real sense of the lack of pride running through the hotel. I can cope with...

This review is for our reception held at the Bryn Howell. From the initial viewing of the venue through to the morning after , I can not fault the service Lorraine and her staff provided, they were very helpful, friendly but above all reassured me that nothing was too much trouble and no request would be a problem. Our day...

I can recommend everything in Bryn Howel. We ate in the bar, but was given the same attention as if we had eaten in the Restaurant. The staff very attentive, the food was excellent, We relaxed for well over an hour with our food and a drink after a long walk along the canal. thank you. r g

Visited last weekend, 3 nights, Friday-Monday, bed and breakfast Arrived about 6pm, and found the receptionist most pleasant and helpful. We had spoken to them about cycle storage before we booked. They told us we could bring our bikes inside one of the rooms off the reception. If we did come back muddy, we could use the stable. A second...

Lovely Hotel, friendly staff, yummy breakfast. The views are amazing and the walks around the area are very good. The train in Llangollen is only just down the road and the village of Llangollen is beautiful. Well worth staying there.

Stayed at the Bryn Howel for a weekend break with family, it potentially could be a very good place but generally looks tired and needs some investment, with this in mind though £98.00 for two nights it was good value for money if you are looking after your hard earned cash. One thing I really didn't expect in the hotel...

Soooo... we've just got back from an overnight stay at the Bryn Howel. Before going we were a little concerned (and confused) by the seemingly endless procession of one star and five star ratings. Is it the same hotel being described? Well, we think we've discovered the reason... But first - overall we LOVED this hotel and will be heading...
