This must be the best Hostel I have ever stayed in! Excellent location right in town, the first thing I noticed when we went in was how clean everthing was. The two rooms I saw were really nice, the 6 bed dorm type room was very large, and our other, twin room, although not so big was certainly adequate, (and...

Stayed two nights at Llangollen Hostel this weekend and was thoroughly impressed. Hostels often come with a bit of a negative stigma, but Llangollen Hostel blew those fears away. It's in a large Victorian house on the main road through Llangollen. I stayed in a room with 6 bunk beds with two other couples. The room wasn't ensuite, but the...

The room was good too, with a good bed and power outlets for GoPros and phones. Overall a really good hostel and the next time I go to Llangollen,...

What a fab place. Stayed for one night in an ensuite family quad room (2 sets of bunk beds). The whole place is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast is included and very yummy - choice of cereals (including porridge), juice, tea coffee, toast & spreads (including Nutella!). Very quiet too even though we were at the front of the...

This place has got the modern concept of well appointed hostels perfectly. Never have I seen a place so spotlessly clean, so immacuately kept, so very well appointed and not a hint of fussiness or primness associated with such victorian houses that languish as B+Bs . The owner and his staff are low- keyed effeicency at its best ; No...
