My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday (also brought our young daughter) upon entry we were majorly disappointed. The carpets were old and dirty it was freezing cold it was so dated! And looked nothing like how it's advertised. My daughter wrapped herself up to keep warm and we put on the two electric fires provided and the fire alarm... More

We hired several of the cottages for a group of us on a hen party. The space overall was really good and the living area was perfect for what we wanted. The kitchen is not fully equipped for people who would actually cook a proper meal and we had to clean all the utensils before use. The cottages are tired... More

Upon arrival of the property we found that there was uneven ground, which was littered by ends of cigarettes. To get to the property we have to climb some uneven steps which on the last day became a hazard to my mother who fell and nearly twisted her ancle. The property was kept moderately clean and had lovely views from... More

Neglected, uncomfortable, rundown. Not very clean. Booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night, cut our losses and booked into a hotel. Looks out over car park not garden as in description. Rusty unusable barbecue. Needs a lot of tlc and better seating

Great little find , settling up a hill on the horseshoe pass 2 miles past Llangollen, 200 yards up the hill off a track , that wouldn't be much fun (i.e.: impossible) in the snow. We stayed in the chalet. You walk out on to your balcony to oversee a view that could only be replicated in the Austrian Tyrol.... More

We spent just two days with a group of 34 people. The houses are incredible! We loved this place. We hope to come back, and we recomend Horseshoe both for relax or adventure holidays. Thanks Amy for your help! Giovanni

We stayed in the Barn. I did not meet the staff, but there was no need; everything about our stay was lovely. The Barn is a lovely, spacious apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a terrace to enjoy if you're lucky enough to have some sun! The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook. We had some... More

Visited horeshoe pass holiday lets last September, (the snug). Staff was very friendly and helpful, views were absolutely amazing from the balcony which is private and not overlooked from the rest of the gardens. The snug itself was more than big enough for two people, everything you need for a weekend break all essentials provided. Clean and tidy on arrival... More

I stayed in the House at the Horseshoe Lets. We hired the cottage as a place to stay for my best friends wedding. We were a party of four adults and two young children. The customer service leading up to our stay was excellent. The staff were very quick to respond to emails and any questions we had. However we... More
