I stayed for 3 nights, and found the room to be very quiet and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, and I was kept entertained by Cinders the cat. Only a short walk from town centre, 20 minutes from Station. Breakfast was outstanding.

Delightful Guest house, I personally like the animals and parrots in the dining room. The cages are clean and so is the dining room. I stay I a lot of travel lodges/guest houses due to my job. It was refreshing to have a friendly, relaxed environment, not to corporate. Fantastic traditional breakfast, locally sourced, defiantly in my top 5.

You can't swing a cat in Room 4. The shower and toilet area is unbelievably small. An effort just to turn round in the shower and no room even for a wash basin in there. So they have put a very small basin in the main room itself and it's no good for anything more than for hand washing. My... More

This review, strangely enough, has not had the desired effect of upsetting us. Indeed, we are grateful to the reviewer for highlighting the need to declutter. As we have had no other adverse reaction to staying in room 4, one does tend to take things for granted after a while. It is very rare that we encourage two people to... More

This is a great guest house offering friendly service and a suoer Welsh breakfast! Ideal for walkers/visitors to the Brecon Beacons area and within walking distance of the town. The rooms were clean and of a high standard.

Stayed for one night and that was long enough! The room was ok but nothing special. The beds were so soft and the pillows so hard I had a terrible nights sleep. The shower door was a battle to close and the dusty vents and cobwebs didn't help enamour you to the place. The breakfast was very average. The hot... More

Over my time I had the opportunity to try all the guest rooms, all have very comfortable beds and everything you need. It was very good value... More

Kevin was very helpful with recommendations of where to eat and drink. Had a quiet and peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was also lovely, with a varied choice. If you are an animal... More
