Overnight stop on way home from from riding holiday. Good location with comfortable spacious rooms. Beds comfy, shower hot, our room also had a fridge which was handy. There is parking less than 1 minute away. I emailed a few questions to hosts & got quick response. Would definitely stay again. We did not eat but the menu was extensive.

We hunted for this pub as this was rated highly on a local site. Set slightly off the high street and first impressions very nice, music on in the back ground. Friendly staff. Good choice of drinks. Pleasant setting. I ordered nachos with BBQ chicken. £9. It was dreadful, not at all a nachos meal. Never had BBQ chicken with... More

Visited the establishment that is central to Abergavenny, on Market Street! Thoroughly enjoyed the visit! Enjoyed the fish menu, and a wide selection of specials on the boards. Suggest you try the beer "Blue Moon" together with locally brewed real ales.

Called in to The Farmers Arms in Abergavenny for Sunday lunch after hearing an advert for them on the local radio. We were told there would be a little bit of a wait as they were busy. There were quite a few empty tables, so we ordered a beef roast, took our drinks and sat down. Nearly an hour later,... More

We stayed a night on our travels through Wales. Management very accommodating, and the chef prepared a meal that was fantastic ...extended the menu meal! Thanks! Pub atmosphere great, and the en suite room very comfortable. Key to the back door appreciated for an early start! The only draw back was no close parking available (with big suitcases)...but management porter-ed... More

Had a great night here. Good food which was very rich but tasty and a band on as well. Got pretty busy. Good atmosphere as well. Would recommend for a night out. On one of the side streets in Abergavenny but easy to find
