My wife & I stopped for 1 night at Tegfan B&B as our daughter was returning to university. Although we arrived fairly late we received a warm welcome from the owner. The room was very comfortable & clean with a good supply of tea & coffee. The area was very quiet & though there was other guests in & out... More

I stayed here for one night in order to travel on the Welsh Highland Railway. The location is very convenient for the railway, castle and town centre; the only downside of this is that, being within the old walled town, parking can be difficult (I was lucky and found a space just up the road). I had booked a small... More

We stayed here for two nights in June. Soon it became clear that the B&B is not clean and shaby. The holder for the towels in the room almost fell from the wall. The light over the could not be switched of. We tried to find the owner and rang the bell several times... no answer!! The breakfast was okay... More

We booked the ‘apartment’ associated with this B&B because it was advertised as “an apartment for a more luxurious stay…” whilst the cost reflected the concept of ‘luxury’ the reality was quite different; on arrival we were disappointed to find that the apartment was filthy. It had not been serviced after the last people had left. We immediately complained and... More

Stayed in a few B&Bs and this is the strangest ever :-( On arrival didn't have that welcome feeling when walking in after trying to scramble over a cat at the entrance! No mention of cats on the reviews and I had a pet allergy! They had just had a fire in the kitchen that morning and my welcoming was... More

I am a solo female traveller and I was booked to stay here for two nights but felt so unsafe staying here I let immediately after my first night. I had booked the back apartment which shares a door with the host's kitchen. Upon arrival, the home seemed a bit run down - things were taped or tied shut, my... More

Phil was very kind and helpful. We could use wifi which was great! The breakfast was average for me. I had a problem with the cleanness. Our room was very, very stinky. The bed was confortable. The windows were dirty, the curtains as well. But it was cheap. Location is excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay here, I don't normally write reviews, but the fact that I am shows how happy I was with this B&B. I had booked a single room, but got a free upgrade to a double as the previous occupier had made a horrific mess in the room that I was meant to stay in. The room... More

Very Very friendly hospitality by Mr. Phil. Cleanness is outstanding in the room, bathrooms and breakfast area. Perfect complete breakfast with varieties in cereals and fruits! Great location, inside the city ancient walls and very adjacent to the castle. Very quiet place. Nice TV Channels in the room. Boiler, Tea, Coffee, Still Water in the room for free. A lot... More

We stayed in the apartment at the back, the size was good for our family of four though set up somewhat piecemeal and they included all of the "stuff" you need in a rental when you are travelling. We had somewhere to park, not always easy to find, and the location was great, walk to everything. Complaints really are only... More
