We arrived at Tegfan exhausted after a very challenging 7-hour drive on Wales' pencil-thin roads. Our first communication from host Phil was a gigantic belch, releasing the odor of alcohol into the room. We asked about the wifi password; the rambling response was something about scaffolding and construction making the signal impossible to receive. When I commented about the price... More

Me and my boyfriend stopped here last wk beginning of June! Wasn't impressed with this place at all! To start with we wasn't even welcomed when we arrived. We had to get the blokes attention and he just said wait a bit. Terrible customer service! Breakfast was average, showers were cold, the place was bit dirty really too! When we... More

Just spent three days at the ground floor apartment which belongs to Tegfan b and b but is round the corner. Previous reviews have described it as tired. Believe me it is exhausted! It smells damp, especially in the cupboard where plates and glasses are kept so you have to wash everything before use. We had 2 medium towels and... More

We stayed there for 2 nights a found it a warm friendly little place. It has six rooms in all. Not sure but I don't think any rooms have on suite but was not a problem. Breakfast was a good English breakfast if you wanted though they were happy to offer something else.

Stayed in this guesthouse for 2 nights. Had a lovely warm welcome from Phil. Excellent service and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a good full english served by a lovely friendly lady. the guesthouse is central to everything in the town. A good basic accomodation. Will stay again.

Stayed one night with family of two pre teen boys. Stayed in the apartment and it was what we required. Sure a little on the tired side, but so close to everything it doesn't matter. Had a small incident with one child getting sick Phil was more than accommodating and we were very appreciative.

Stayed here with a friend overnight and Phil and Paula were very accommodating since we arrived here late at night. The bedroom (number 1) was clean and tidy but it was quite cold at night. There were two separate shower units and toilets. The breakfast was nice but there could have been more of a cook up.
