Called in early evening with family over on a visit from Vancouver Canada . We chose to eat there because it seemed a very family friendly pub with a nice friendly atmosphere . We chose to eat of the specials menu and I have to say we we're not disappointed. Excellent food , excellent portions and excellent service . The... More

Visited the anglesey arms on Tuesday for dinner, as we were looking for somewhere for dinner, and stumbled across this little gem on the quayside. We called in for dinner and the food and service was excellent. The best pub food we have had in years. The sea bass was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the char grilled chicken was... More

During a short break we stumbled upon the Anglesey Arms, wgere during the afternoon a vocalist was singing to a packed sea front. In the evening we called back for an evening meal, specifically because it is dog friendly. The food was excellent with large portions and hot, the beer was exceptional and I can certainly recommend the Hobgoblin on... More

Had the best fish and chips ever here for lunch, delicious! Beautiful food, beautiful views, perfect day. A popular spot and rightly so, right on the harbour by the Castle this lovely pub is a great place to eat or simply sit and watch the world go by.

Have been here a few times and to be honest it's looked a bit weary, although the food and staff have always been good. I love the new look and the lad taking orders and serving is a star (sorry I didn't get his name) I had the seafood curry and my partner had the Thai green curry.....both gorgeous. I'm... More

We had spent the day in Snowdon and came back to Caernafon to our hotel and decide to wander around the castle. Heard some music and found the Anglesea Arms, there was a musician outside singing so we stopped for a drink. We noticed some of the meals being served and decided to eat there. The food was very good.... More

Not very impressed with the room. It had a small double bed that occupied most of the floor space with some quirky furniture. The view was over the back yard of the hotel from which there was quite a bit of noise. It was also very warm and smelled of food. We ate in the restaurant, which was it's saving... More

Didn't eat here but sat outside a few times enjoying the weather, live music and lovely views. Food we saw being served looked good. Well worth staying for the amazing sunset. Plenty of space for sitting outside or just sit on the sea wall. Right next door to castle so great location

We stopped here for a drink whilst walking along the bay. Sat out in the sun the tables out front are great with a great view of the bay. The pub itself is a little tired inside and needs some TLC, however the food being served looked good. It was a Sunday afternoon and there was some live music which... More

We went here today after seeing it was dog friendly and also did a dog menu!! Was told there was no dog menu today?? You should not advertise it on your A board then!! We then had a very long wait for lamb burger and a beef lasagne Finally came which was both extremely overcooked. No apologies for wait also... More
